Ejército Nacional recupera a menor víctima de reclutamiento forzado y facilita su reencuentro familiar en Huila.

El silencio y la incertidumbre de unos padres que durante tres años esperaron noticias de su hija terminaron en lágrimas de felicidad y abrazos cargados de esperanza.

Gracias a labores de inteligencia y a la acción oportuna de tropas del Batallón de Infantería Liviana N.° 26 Cacique Pigoanza, unidad orgánica de la Novena Brigada del Ejército Nacional, una menor de edad logró salir del control de una estructura armada organizada residual, y hoy se encuentra nuevamente bajo la protección del Estado y en contacto con su familia.

La menor, quien había sido reclutada de manera forzada cuando tenía apenas 13 años, logró escapar por sus propios medios del grupo armado ilegal que hacía presencia en zona rural del departamento del Huila. En medio del miedo y la incertidumbre, emprendió un camino en busca de refugio y ayuda hasta llegar a un municipio del centro del departamento, donde su situación fue conocida por soldados del Ejército Nacional.

Una vez establecida su ubicación, tropas del Ejército Nacional se desplazaron de inmediato al lugar, brindándole protección y trasladándola de forma segura al municipio de Garzón, Huila. Allí se logró el contacto con su familia, quienes desde hacía dos años la habían reportado como secuestrada y nunca perdieron la esperanza de volver a verla.

Mientras se adelantaba el proceso de reencuentro familiar, la menor recibió atención médica y acompañamiento integral, luego fue puesta a disposición del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar ICBF, autoridad competente para el restablecimiento de sus derechos, garantizando su protección, bienestar y atención especializada.

De acuerdo con la información conocida, la menor habría sido obligada a integrar la estructura armada ilegal denominada Rodrigo Cadete, perteneciente al Bloque Jorge Suárez Briceño, donde cumplía funciones dentro de una comisión de finanzas, bajo órdenes de alias Morroco. Su historia refleja una realidad dolorosa: la de niños, niñas y adolescentes víctimas del reclutamiento forzado, privados de su infancia, sus sueños y su libertad.

La Novena Brigada del Ejército Nacional continúa trabajando de manera decidida para proteger a la población civil y promover que más integrantes de estas estructuras armadas ilegales, especialmente menores de edad, busquen el apoyo de la Fuerza Pública. En el caso de los niños, niñas y adolescentes, el objetivo es el restablecimiento pleno de sus derechos, y en el de los adultos, facilitar los procesos de sometimiento y reincorporación a la vida civil, de acuerdo con los beneficios establecidos por el Estado.

Cada menor que regresa a casa representa una victoria de la vida sobre la violencia. El Ejército Nacional reafirma su compromiso con la defensa de la niñez y la construcción de un Huila más seguro, humano y en paz.

National Army rescues minor victim of forced recruitment and facilitates family reunification in Huila.

The silence and uncertainty of parents who waited three years for news of their daughter ended in tears of joy and embraces filled with hope.

Thanks to intelligence work and the timely action of troops from the 26th Light Infantry Battalion «Cacique Pigoanza,» an organic unit of the Ninth Brigade of the National Army, a minor managed to escape the control of a residual organized armed group and is now back under the protection of the State and in contact with her family.

The minor, who had been forcibly recruited when she was only 13 years old, managed to escape on her own from the illegal armed group that operated in a rural area of ​​the department of Huila. Amid fear and uncertainty, she embarked on a journey in search of refuge and help until she reached a municipality in the center of the department, where her situation became known to soldiers of the National Army.

Once her location was established, troops from the National Army immediately deployed to the area, providing her with protection and safely transporting her to the municipality of Garzón, Huila. There, contact was made with her family, who had reported her kidnapped two years prior and never lost hope of seeing her again.

While the family reunification process was underway, the minor received medical attention and comprehensive support. She was then placed in the care of the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF), the competent authority for the restoration of her rights, guaranteeing her protection, well-being, and specialized care.

According to available information, the minor had been forced to join the illegal armed group known as Rodrigo Cadete, belonging to the Jorge Suárez Briceño Bloc, where she served on a finance committee under the orders of alias Morroco. Her story reflects a painful reality: that of children and adolescents who are victims of forced recruitment, deprived of their childhood, their dreams, and their freedom.

The Ninth Brigade of the National Army continues its determined work to protect the civilian population and encourage more members of these illegal armed groups, especially minors, to seek the support of the Public Force. In the case of children and adolescents, the goal is the full restoration of their rights, and in the case of adults, to facilitate the processes of surrender and reintegration into civilian life, in accordance with the benefits established by the State.

Every child who returns home represents a victory of life over violence. The National Army reaffirms its commitment to the defense of children and the building of a safer, more humane, and peaceful Huila.
