Ejército Nacional neutralizó en medio de combates a cabecilla del GAO Clan del Golfo en zona rural de Montelíbano, Córdoba.

Se trataría de alias Cóndor o Condorito, peligroso miembro de este grupo ilegal con un largo prontuario criminal. Uno de sus escoltas también fue neutralizado. Las tropas permanecen en el sitio, a fin de contrarrestar cualquier acción criminal dirigida a la población civil.

En desarrollo de operaciones militares orientadas a combatir las capacidades de la amenaza, tropas del Gaula Militar Bajo Cauca del Ejército Nacional y el Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación (CTI) de la Fiscalía General de la Nación, sostuvieron combates con el grupo armado organizado (GAO) Clan del Golfo, dejando como resultado la muerte en desarrollo de la operación de dos presuntos miembros de esta organización ilegal.

Los hechos se registraron en el corregimiento de Tierradentro, en jurisdicción del municipio de Montelíbano, Córdoba, donde además se lograron incautar dos armas cortas, un fusil, 5 proveedores, 296 cartuchos de diferentes calibres, 3 celulares y una motocicleta.

De acuerdo con la información aportada por la inteligencia del Gaula Militar Sinú, uno de los occisos sería conocido como alias Cóndor o Condorito, presunto cabecilla del componente criminal focalizado de la Subestructura Rubén Darío Ávila; el otro sujeto abatido durante la operación sería el encargado de su seguridad.

Alias Cóndor o Condorito llevaría un tiempo aproximado de 8 años en la organización ilegal, y tendría como área de injerencia criminal los municipios de Puerto Libertador, Montelíbano, Planeta Rica y San José de Uré, Córdoba.

En el año 2021, mencionado sujeto habría participado en la activación de un campo minado al paso de un vehículo NPR, en la vereda Liborina del municipio de Puerto Libertador, acción terrorista en la que 5 militares perdieron la vida y 7 más resultaron heridos. 

Igualmente, sería responsable de la emboscada mediante activación de un artefacto explosivo y ráfagas de fusil que dejó 7 policías heridos, en hechos acaecidos en el año 2022 en la vereda Las Claritas de este mismo municipio.

Alias Cóndor también es señalado del secuestro y tortura de dos suboficiales del Ejercito Nacional, además del hurto de sus armas de dotación y la motocicleta oficial, eventos ocurridos en el año 2024 en el corregimiento El Doce de Tarazá, Antioquia.

Adicionalmente, tendría responsabilidad en el asesinato de dos personas en zona rural de Valdivia, Antioquia, quienes habrían sido acusadas de ser colaboradoras de la Fuerza Pública.

Durante el presente año, habría realizado acciones delictivas contra policías y militares en Remedios, Valdivia y Cáceres, Antioquia en el marco del paro armado, tras la muerte en desarrollo de operaciones de alias Chirimoya.

Finalmente, se le atribuye participación en el asesinato de dos soldados del Batallón de Infantería Liviana N.° 33 Junín, en el corregimiento Tierra Santa, jurisdicción de Buenavista, Córdoba.

Alias Cóndor es sindicado además de desplazamientos forzados y del cobro de extorsiones a los diferentes gremios del sur de la región cordobesa y el Bajo Cauca antioqueño.

Los elementos incautados fueron dejados a disposición de las autoridades competentes para la realización de los actos urgentes y continuar con los respectivos procesos judiciales.

Con este resultado, el GAO Clan del Golfo pierde un cabecilla con amplia experiencia delictiva en acciones terroristas contra la población civil y la Fuerza Pública, lo que debilita el componente armado de esta organización ilegal.

Las tropas seguirán asestando golpes contundes contra los grupos al margen de la ley que operan en el departamento de Córdoba, con el firme propósito de atacar los factores de inestabilidad y generar un ambiente de seguridad para los pobladores de esta zona del país.

The events took place in the village of Tierradentro, within the municipality of Montelíbano, Córdoba, where authorities also seized two handguns, a rifle, five magazines, 296 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, three cell phones, and a motorcycle.

According to intelligence provided by the Sinú Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Group), one of the deceased was known as alias Cóndor or Condorito, the alleged leader of the targeted criminal component of the Rubén Darío Ávila Substructure; the other individual killed during the operation was reportedly in charge of his security.

Alias ​​Cóndor or Condorito had been with the illegal organization for approximately eight years and his area of ​​criminal influence included the municipalities of Puerto Libertador, Montelíbano, Planeta Rica, and San José de Uré, Córdoba.

Additionally, he is allegedly responsible for the murder of two people in a rural area of ​​Valdivia, Antioquia, who were accused of collaborating with the security forces.

During this year, he allegedly carried out criminal acts against police and military personnel in Remedios, Valdivia, and Cáceres, Antioquia, in the context of the armed strike following the death of alias Chirimoya during operations.

Finally, he is accused of participating in the murder of two soldiers from the 33rd Junín Light Infantry Battalion in the village of Tierra Santa, within the jurisdiction of Buenavista, Córdoba.

Alias ​​Cóndor is also accused of forced displacement and extortion of various sectors in southern Córdoba and the Bajo Cauca region of Antioquia.

The seized items were turned over to the competent authorities for urgent procedures and to continue with the respective legal proceedings.

With this outcome, the Clan del Golfo Organized Armed Group loses a leader with extensive criminal experience in terrorist acts against the civilian population and the security forces, thus weakening the armed component of this illegal organization.

The troops will continue to deliver decisive blows against illegal armed groups operating in the department of Córdoba, with the firm purpose of combating the factors of instability and creating a secure environment for the residents of this region of the country.
