Ejército Nacional captura a integrantes del GAO-r Frente Joaquín González con material de guerra.

Estas capturas impactan estratégicamente las economías ilícitas de las disidencias de alias Calarcá, que busca expandirse en el centro-occidente del Tolima.

Hasta la vereda San Rafael, de la ciudad de Ibagué, soldados del Gaula Militar Tolima, de la Sexta Brigada del Ejército Nacional, capturan en flagrancia a tres sujetos integrantes del grupo armado organizado residual Frente Joaquín Gonzáles, con material de guerra.

Gracias a información de inteligencia militar, estos sujetos estarían haciendo presencia para amenazar y constreñir a la poblacion civil, con el propósito principal de realizar extorsiones y demás actividades delictivas. 

Ante esta información, tropas en el área general del corregimiento de Laureles y en desarrollo de la acción ofensiva, sorprendieron a los hombres portando armas de fuego, por lo que fueron capturados en flagrancia. 

Se les incautaron 3 armas largas, armas cortas, proveedores, municiones, 6 uniformes, pantalones y guerreras verdeoliva con parches alusivos a la FARC EP, brazaletes alusivos a FARC EP Frente Joaquín González y busos manga larga con símbolos FARC EP.

Los sujetos fueron dejados a disposición de la Fiscalía en Ibagué, por los delitos de fabricación, tráfico, porte o tenencia de armas de fuego, accesorios, partes o municiones.

Cumpliendo con resultados tangibles en el marco de la legalidad a la población del Tolima, con tropas de la Sexta Brigada, se afecta notablemente esta estructura armada ilegal, que pretende reorganizarse.

Es por ello que el trabajo mancomunado por parte de las Fuerzas Militares y los demás entes del Estado fortalece día a día la tranquilidad del territorio tolimense.

National Army captures members of the GAO-r Joaquín González Front with weapons.

These captures strategically impact the illicit economies of the dissidents of alias Calarcá, who seek to expand in the central-western region of Tolima.

In the village of San Rafael, near the city of Ibagué, soldiers from the Tolima Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Group), of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, captured three members of the residual organized armed group Joaquín González Front in the act of committing a crime, in possession of weapons.

According to military intelligence, these individuals were allegedly present to threaten and coerce the civilian population, with the primary purpose of carrying out extortion and other criminal activities.

Based on this information, troops in the general area of ​​the Laureles district, during an offensive operation, surprised the men carrying firearms, and they were captured in the act.

Authorities seized three rifles, handguns, magazines, ammunition, six uniforms, olive-green pants and jackets with patches alluding to the FARC-EP, armbands alluding to the FARC-EP Joaquín González Front, and long-sleeved sweatshirts with FARC-EP symbols.

The individuals were turned over to the Prosecutor’s Office in Ibagué on charges of manufacturing, trafficking, carrying, or possessing firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition.

Achieving tangible results within the framework of the law for the people of Tolima, troops from the Sixth Brigade have significantly impacted this illegal armed group, which is attempting to reorganize.
