Ejército Nacional captura a alias el Sastre, presunto integrante del GAO-r E36 y quien estaría detrás de las recientes acciones terroristas en Medellín.

Este sujeto sería el fabricante de las banderas utilizadas por el (GAO-r) Estructura 36 para amedrentar a la población civil.

Mediante labores de registro y allanamiento, tropas del Batallón de Policía Militar N.° 4 de la Cuarta Brigada del Ejército Nacional, con la Fiscalía 75 Especializada contra Organizaciones Criminales de Medellín, la Policía Judicial del Grupo Investigativo contra las Organizaciones Criminales de Medellín y la Policía de Antioquia, lograron la captura en flagrancia de alias el Sastre, presunto integrante del grupo armado organizado residual (GAO-r) E36 y señalado de liderar una célula urbana de esta estructura en la ciudad de Medellín.

De acuerdo con la información de inteligencia, este individuo habría participado en la instalación de banderas alusivas a este grupo, el pasado miércoles en el barrio Loreto, lugar donde posteriormente fueron detonados artefactos explosivos, atentando contra los activos estratégicos de la nación.

Alias el Sastre sería cabecilla logístico de la estructura, encargado de la fabricación de material de uso privativo de las Fuerzas Militares. Al momento de su captura, le fueron incautados material de intendencia, equipos de comunicación y más de 10 millones de pesos en efectivo, presuntamente producto de esta actividad ilícita. Así mismo, tenía en su contra una orden de captura vigente por los delitos de concierto para delinquir y utilización ilegal de uniformes e insignias.

Con esta operación, el Ejército Nacional, en articulación con la Policía Nacional, la Fiscalía General de la Nación y demás autoridades de la región, reafirma su compromiso con la seguridad y protección de la población civil, al tiempo que continúa adelantando operaciones militares que garanticen la estabilidad en el territorio.

Through search and seizure operations, troops from the 4th Military Police Battalion of the Fourth Brigade of the National Army, along with the 75th Specialized Prosecutor’s Office Against Criminal Organizations in Medellín, the Judicial Police of the Investigative Group Against Criminal Organizations in Medellín, and the Antioquia Police, captured in flagrante delicto alias El Sastre, an alleged member of the residual organized armed group (GAO-r) E36 and accused of leading an urban cell of this organization in the city of Medellín.

According to intelligence information, this individual allegedly participated in the installation of flags alluding to this group last Wednesday in the Loreto neighborhood, where explosive devices were subsequently detonated, attacking strategic national assets.

Alias ​​»El Sastre» is believed to be the logistical leader of the organization, responsible for the manufacture of materials for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces. At the time of his capture, quartermaster supplies, communications equipment, and more than 10 million pesos in cash were seized, allegedly the proceeds of this illicit activity. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant for conspiracy to commit a crime and illegal use of uniforms and insignia.

With this operation, the National Army, in coordination with the National Police, the Attorney General’s Office, and other regional authorities, reaffirms its commitment to the security and protection of the civilian population, while continuing to carry out military operations that guarantee stability in the territory.
