DÍA INTERNACIONAL DE LA PAZ EN RISARALDA

En los 14 municipios de Risaralda, ayer -jueves 21 de septiembre-, celebramos, con guerra, el DÍA INTERNACIONAL DE LA PAZ. Contienda que se prolongará, por 38 días más, hasta el 29 de octubre -fecha de elecciones territoriales 2023-.

En plena campaña, los distintos bandos utilizan modernas armas de ataque y defensa: unos, con feroces militantes; otros, con mesurados combatientes. Claro que, dentro las estrategias, ya afloran pactos de paz promovidos por los equipos que se consideran ganadores, en los cargos que asumirán para el período 2024-2027, dispuestos a levantar a vencidos en el campo de batalla.

“La palabra paz proviene del latín pax y significa un periodo de estabilidad, o sea sin guerra… Antiguamente esos periodos de tranquilidad eran resultado de un pacto y un pago (tributo); por eso, ambas palabras (pago y pacto) también provienen de pax. La paz es una instancia visible temporalmente, resultado de una visión superadora que destruye las mentiras, envidias, especulaciones e intereses particulares en pos del bienestar general y un sentimiento de fraternidad”.

Es tiempo de revivir mi poema de seis cuartetos:

LA PAZ

Sin guerra no hay Paz.  / Siempre ha existido la guerra; / todos buscan la Paz / y siempre viven en guerra,

Los dos extremos están vivos / todos en su afán son permisivos: / muerte, vida; silencio, ruido dentro del Universo vencido.

Guerra para amar y vivir, / amor para la Paz y morir, / guerra para reproducir / y Paz para combatir.

El símbolo de la Paz / es el silencio en guerra / y se distingue la guerra / con el ruido de la Paz.

Paz para la guerra, / guerra para la Paz / ¿Dónde está la guerra? / ¿Dónde está la Paz?

Sí buscas la Paz / guerrero serás, / sí a la guerra vas / la Paz encontrarás.

El 29 de octubre 2023, acudiremos a las urnas, arropados democráticamente por el “Artículo 258 -El voto es un derecho y un deber ciudadano. El Estado velará porque se ejerza sin ningún tipo de coacción y en forma secreta por los ciudadanos en cubículos individuales instalados en cada mesa de votación sin perjuicio del uso de medios electrónicos o informáticos…”

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE IN RISARALDA

In the 14 municipalities of Risaralda, yesterday – Thursday, September 21 -, we celebrated, with war, the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE. Contest that will last, for 38 more days, until October 29 – date of territorial elections 2023 -.

In the middle of the campaign, the different sides use modern weapons of attack and defense: some, with ferocious militants; others, with measured combatants. Of course, within the strategies, peace pacts promoted by the teams that consider themselves winners are already emerging, in the positions they will assume for the period 2024-2027, willing to lift up the defeated on the battlefield.

“The word peace comes from the Latin pax and means a period of stability, that is, without war… In the past, these periods of tranquility were the result of an agreement and a payment (tribute); Therefore, both words (payment and pact) also come from pax. Peace is a temporarily visible instance, the result of an overcoming vision that destroys lies, envy, speculation and particular interests in pursuit of general well-being and a feeling of brotherhood.”

It’s time to revive my poem of six quatrains:

PEACE

Without war there is no peace. / War has always existed; / everyone seeks Peace / and always lives in war,

The two extremes are alive / everyone in their desire is permissive: / death, life; silence, noise within the defeated Universe.

War to love and live, / love for Peace and die, / war to reproduce / and Peace to fight.

The symbol of Peace / is silence in war / and war is distinguished / with the noise of Peace.

Peace for war, / war for Peace / Where is the war? / Where is Peace?

If you seek Peace / you will be a warrior, / if you go to war / you will find Peace.

On October 29, 2023, we will go to the polls, democratically supported by “Article 258 – Voting is a right and a citizen duty. The State will ensure that it is exercised without any type of coercion and secretly by citizens in individual cubicles installed at each voting station without prejudice to the use of electronic or computer means…»
