En El Cedro del Hotel Movich, viernes 11 agosto, fueron celebrados 49 años de Copesa, con una ceremonia de presentación y reconocimiento a la nueva generación de líderes de Risaralda 2023.

Dio apertura al evento Bernardo Gil Jaramillo, presidente de COPESA, reseñando logros durante 49 años, con protagonismo activo en grandes obras de Risaralda; entre las cuales, se destacan significativos aportes a la Educación Superior. Exaltó a cada uno de los homenajeados, solicitando el aplauso unánime de los 300 asistentes.

Angélica Gálvez Valencia encabezó el listado de reconocimientos. Su padre, abogado Roberto Gálvez Montealegre: exgobernador, exparlamentario colombiano, empresario internacional, intervino presentando el exitoso recorrido de su hija y su excelente desempeño al frente de BUSSCAR COLOMBIA. Seguidamente, acompañado por directivos de Copesa, entregó la distinción Líder Nueva Generación 2023 a su hija Angélica, ovacionada en primera fila por su mamá Luz Mary Valencia y su hermano Roberto Junior.

El presidente de la Asamblea Risaralda, Carlos Andrés Gil González, agradeció a su padre Bernardo Gil Jaramillo por encaminarlo al servicio de la humanidad, con respeto y sencillez. Su cariñoso discurso, fue retribuido con lágrimas visibles en el rostro del timonel de COPESA.

Roberto Gálvez Montealegre, Luis Fernando Gaviria Trujillo, Jaime Cortés Díaz, Ovidio Ramírez, Alejandro García Ríos, Presbítero Behítman Céspedes de los Ríos y Victoria Eugenia Echeverri, ocuparon la Mesa Principal de El Cedro-Movich.

Luis Fernando Gaviria Trujillo, con firmeza, reveló acciones ejecutadas para posicionar a la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, en el listado de las Instituciones más importantes de América con reconocidas Certificaciones Internacionales.

Alejandro García Ríos habló sobre su gestión en el Congreso de la República y la canalización de recursos que garantizan el avance de obras en Risaralda; incluyendo, la construcción del Hospital Regional de Alta Complejidad en Pereira que brindará servicio de salud a 3.500.000 personas de Caldas, Quindío, Chocó, Norte del Valle, Tolima y Risaralda. Animadamente reveló logros para la Educación Superior, que cobijan desde la gratuidad hasta el aporte de numerosas becas, refiriéndose a la U.T.P. que registra 18 mil estudiantes.

El rector de LA UCP, Padre Behítman Alberto Céspedes, resumió los avances de la Universidad Católica de Pereira, vertidos en la formación de excelentes profesionales que ya laboran en importantes Empresas en los cinco continentes.

Copesa: sí pesa en el progreso económico y social de Risaralda.

THE 49 OF COPESA

At El Cedro in the Hotel Movich, Friday, August 11, 49 years of Copesa were celebrated, with a ceremony to present and recognize the new generation of leaders of Risaralda 2023.

The event was opened by Bernardo Gil Jaramillo, president of COPESA, reviewing achievements over 49 years, with an active role in major works in Risaralda; among which, significant contributions to Higher Education stand out. He exalted each of the honorees, requesting the unanimous applause of the 300 attendees.

Angélica Gálvez Valencia headed the list of recognitions. Her father, lawyer Roberto Gálvez Montealegre: ex-governor, ex-Colombian parliamentarian, international businessman, intervened presenting his daughter’s successful career and her excellent performance at the helm of BUSSCAR COLOMBIA. Next, accompanied by Copesa executives, he presented the 2023 New Generation Leader distinction to his daughter Angélica, who was cheered in the front row by her mother Luz Mary Valencia and her brother Roberto Junior.

The president of the Risaralda Assembly, Carlos Andrés Gil González, thanked his father Bernardo Gil Jaramillo for directing him to the service of humanity, with respect and simplicity. His affectionate speech was rewarded with visible tears on the face of the COPESA helmsman.

Luis Fernando Gaviria Trujillo firmly revealed actions carried out to position the Technological University of Pereira, in the list of the most important Institutions in America with recognized International Certifications.

Alejandro García Ríos spoke about his management in the Congress of the Republic and the channeling of resources that guarantee the progress of works in Risaralda; including, the construction of the High Complexity Regional Hospital in Pereira that will provide health services to 3,500,000 people from Caldas, Quindío, Chocó, Norte del Valle, Tolima and Risaralda. Animatedly, he revealed achievements for Higher Education, which range from free to the contribution of numerous scholarships, referring to the U.T.P. which registers 18 thousand students.
