The Mayor of Pereira Mauricio Salazar Peláez, through the Secretariat of Social Development and the Sexual Diversity Program, joins the commemoration of the International Day of LGBTI Pride, celebrated worldwide on June 28.
This day remembers the brave people who paved the way at Stonewall in 1969, fighting for a world that respects diversity. This will be the program prepared to celebrate this activity:

Tuesday, June 25 Exhibition “Pride of Being:
Historical milestones of the sexually diverse population”, time 2: p.m. place: Carrera 6ª. # l525 Espacio Vasto.

Wednesday June 26 Pride without barriers:
Free to be time 8:00 a.m. Place Cárcel la 40

June Thursday June 27 Night of transformist artists time 7:00 p.m. place: Evolutión calle 22 # 7-37 Marathon of Employability “pride to be”.
Time: 800ª.m-1200m. place: SENA Employment Center

Friday June 28 Raising of the flag of diverse communities time: 6:00 p.m. Place: Plaza Cívica Ciudad Victoria
Sunday June 30 Pride: presentation Pride to be Time: 9: a.m. Place: Pereira streets closing: Plaza Cívica Ciudad Victoria.
