Capturado sujeto que movilizaba 55 kilos de pasta base de coca y material de guerra en vías del Suroeste antioqueño.

El material incautado tendría un valor superior a los 300 millones de pesos en el mercado ilegal.

En las últimas horas, en una rápida acción militar de nuestros soldados del Gaula Militar Valle de Aburrá de la Cuarta Brigada, con el CTI de la Fiscalía General de la Nación, se logró la captura en flagrancia de un sujeto que se movilizaba por vías del municipio de Amagá, Antioquia, con 70 paquetes de pasta base de coca, con un peso aproximado de 55 kilogramos, y 25 proveedores para fusil, los cuales eran transportados mediante la modalidad de ocultamiento. 

De acuerdo con información de inteligencia militar, el estupefaciente y el material de guerra provenían del departamento del Cauca y tendrían como destino la ciudad de Medellín, donde serían puestos para posteriormente ser entregados al GAO-r Subestructura 18, grupo armado organizado con injerencia delictiva en el Norte del departamento.

Este resultado operacional constituye un golpe contundente a las capacidades logísticas, financieras y armadas de este grupo armado organizado, impactando de manera directa sus economías ilícitas y debilitando su accionar criminal.

El Ejército Nacional reafirma su compromiso de continuar desarrollando operaciones militares conjuntas, coordinadas e interinstitucionales, orientadas a neutralizar las amenazas que atentan contra la seguridad y tranquilidad de la población civil en el departamento de Antioquia.

Man arrested for transporting 55 kilos of cocaine base and weapons on roads in southwestern Antioquia.

The seized material would have a value exceeding 300 million pesos on the black market.

In recent hours, in a swift military operation by our soldiers from the Valle de Aburrá Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Group) of the Fourth Brigade, in conjunction with the CTI (Technical Investigation Corps) of the Attorney General’s Office, a man was arrested in the act of traveling on roads in the municipality of Amagá, Antioquia, with 70 packages of cocaine base, weighing approximately 55 kilograms, and 25 rifle magazines, which were being transported concealed.

According to military intelligence, the narcotics and weapons originated in the department of Cauca and were destined for the city of Medellín, where they would be stored before being handed over to GAO-r Substructure 18, an organized armed group with criminal influence in the northern part of the department.

This operational result represents a significant blow to the logistical, financial, and military capabilities of this organized armed group, directly impacting its illicit economies and weakening its criminal activities.

The National Army reaffirms its commitment to continue conducting joint, coordinated, and interagency military operations aimed at neutralizing threats to the security and peace of the civilian population in the department of Antioquia.
