PARQUE UKUMARÍ DE PEREIRA.

En medio de tierras ganaderas y cafeteras, más de 44 hectáreas conforman el mayor megaproyecto recreativo de la región: un zoológico, varias aulas para estudio ambiental,  un jardín botánico con 74 mil plantas, la más moderna clínica veterinaria de Suramérica y un museo antropológico, entre otras atracciones.

Ucumari es un templo animal y vegetal en el que se le hace culto a la vida.

Cada rincón presenta un escenario natural en el que  no existen barreras visibles, donde se alberga los individuos de la fauna exótica y tropical del hitórico Zoológico Matecaña, con el fin de brindarles un hábitat más confortable de acuerdo con las necesidades de cada especie.

254 especies, 204 de planta, conservación, educación, investigación  y recreación son los pilares de este gran parque temático en el que se puede vivir una variable experiencia de cercanía con la fauna  y la flora, así como la cultura de los cinco continentes.

In the middle of cattle and coffee lands, more than 44 hectares make up the largest recreational megaproject in the region: a zoo, several classrooms for environmental studies, a botanical garden with 74 thousand plants, the most modern veterinary clinic in South America and an anthropological museum, among other attractions.

Ucumari is an animal and plant temple where life is worshipped.

Each corner presents a natural setting in which there are no visible barriers, where the individuals of the exotic and tropical fauna of the historic Matecaña Zoo are housed, in order to provide them with a more comfortable habitat according to the needs of each species.

254 species, 204 plants, conservation, education, research and recreation are the pillars of this great theme park where you can live a diverse experience of closeness to the fauna and flora, as well as the culture of the five continents.
