El Sábado Santo conmemora el tiempo en que Jesús permaneció en el sepulcro tras su crucifixión. Es un día de silencio, luto y profunda reflexión para los cristianos, acompañando a la Virgen María, que culmina al anochecer con la Vigilia Pascual, donde se celebra la resurrección de Jesús. Puntos claves del Sábado Santo:
Día de Silencio y Luto: No se celebran eucaristías, el altar está despojado y el Sagrario queda abierto y vacío. / Esperanza en la espera: Aunque es un día de duelo, representa la espera esperanzada de la resurrección. / Soledad de María: Se recuerda a la Virgen María como testigo de la fe y el dolor, esperando la victoria de su Hijo. / La Vigilia Pascual: Por la noche, se celebra «la madre de todas las vigilias», que comienza con la bendición del fuego nuevo, el encendido del Cirio Pascual (luz de Cristo) y la renovación de las promesas bautismales.
Anteriormente conocido como «Sábado de Gloria», el Sábado Santo es el tercer día del Triduo Pascual, conectando la muerte de Jesús el Viernes Santo con su Resurrección el Domingo de Pascua.

EL CLAMOR POR EL CONSUELO: UNA REFLEXIÓN SOBRE EL DUELO Y LA PAZ
Hoy, el dolor desgarrador de las madres que han perdido la vida de sus hijos en la crueldad de una guerra fratricida no puede pasarnos inadvertido. Ese vacío, profundo y silencioso, debe ser el motor que me mueva a levantar la voz con firmeza y compasión.
Es imperativo clamar tanto a la Justicia Terrena como a la Justicia Divina. No solo para exigir respuestas, sino para pedir por ellas: por una atención inmediata que ampare su vulnerabilidad y por el valor necesario para que logren continuar con sus propias vidas a pesar de la ausencia.
En esta súplica, incluyo el ruego por el perdón y, sobre todo, por la paz interior de cada una de estas madres. Que el consuelo alcance sus corazones y que nuestra solidaridad sea el primer paso hacia una sanación que parece imposible, pero que es urgente para la humanidad. –Rudafra.
