Más de 1.700 personas beneficiadas en actividad humanitaria en Leticia, Amazonas.

En el Instituto Educativo Francisco del Rosario Vela, en Leticia, Amazonas, fue desarrollada una Actividad de Asistencia Médico Humanitaria, mediante la articulación interinstitucional entre la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana y la Dirección de Salud de Leticia, con el propósito de brindar atención integral en salud y asistencia humanitaria a 1.778 personas del departamento.

Esta jornada fue posible gracias al trabajo conjunto de profesionales y voluntarios de organizaciones como la Fundación Juan N. Corpas, la Fundación Fruto Bendito, la Corporación Organización Minuto de Dios, Laboratorios Laproff, FEDEGAN, la Asociación de Oficiales de la Reserva de la FAC, la Fundación Sentipensante y la Fundación Fernando Murillo, entre otras, quienes contribuyeron con donaciones y servicios que fortalecieron el bienestar de la comunidad, llevando alivio y soluciones concretas a los habitantes de esta región del país.

Durante la actividad se benefició población indígena y no indígena, quienes recibieron servicios de salud especializada, entrega de medicamentos y ayudas humanitarias, alcanzando un total de 2.519 atenciones. Esta jornada permitió acercar servicios esenciales a comunidades en condición de vulnerabilidad, contribuyendo al mejoramiento de su calidad de vida y al acceso oportuno a la atención médica. Asimismo, se contó con la participación de la Armada República de Colombia y el Ejército Nacional, así como el acompañamiento de la Defensoría del Pueblo y el Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar – ICBF.

Con este tipo de iniciativas, la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana reafirma su compromiso con el desarrollo social y el bienestar de las comunidades, fortaleciendo la articulación interinstitucional y consolidando su presencia en el extremo sur del país, mediante acciones que promueven la salud, la solidaridad y la construcción de tejido social en el Amazonas.

More than 1,700 people benefit from humanitarian activity in Leticia, Amazonas.

A humanitarian medical assistance activity was carried out at the Francisco del Rosario Vela Educational Institute in Leticia, Amazonas, through inter-institutional collaboration between the Colombian Aerospace Force and the Leticia Health Department. The activity aimed to provide comprehensive healthcare and humanitarian assistance to 1,778 people in the department.

This initiative was made possible thanks to the collaborative work of professionals and volunteers from organizations such as the Juan N. Corpas Foundation, the Fruto Bendito Foundation, the Minuto de Dios Organization Corporation, Laproff Laboratories, FEDEGAN, the Colombian Air Force Reserve Officers Association, the Sentipensante Foundation, and the Fernando Murillo Foundation, among others. These organizations contributed donations and services that strengthened the well-being of the community, bringing relief and concrete solutions to the inhabitants of this region of the country.

During the event, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people benefited, receiving specialized health services, medications, and humanitarian aid, for a total of 2,519 people. This initiative brought essential services closer to vulnerable communities, contributing to an improved quality of life and timely access to medical care. The Colombian Navy and the National Army also participated, along with the support of the Ombudsman’s Office and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF).

With initiatives like this, the Colombian Aerospace Force reaffirms its commitment to social development and the well-being of communities, strengthening inter-institutional collaboration and consolidating its presence in the far south of the country through actions that promote health, solidarity, and the building of social cohesion in the Amazon region.
