Ejército Nacional recuperó a tres menores víctimas de reclutamiento forzado en zona rural de Florencia, Caquetá.

Golpe a la estructura residual Rodrigo Cadete y avance decisivo en la protección de la niñez frente al reclutamiento ilícito en el sur del país.

En desarrollo de operaciones militares orientadas a la protección de la población civil y la defensa de los derechos de niños, niñas y adolescentes, tropas de la Décima Segunda Brigada, orgánica de la Sexta División del Ejército Nacional, lograron la recuperación de tres menores de edad en la vereda Remolinos, corregimiento Danubio, zona rural de Florencia.

La operación fue adelantada por el Batallón de Ingenieros de Combate N.° 12, tras un trabajo de inteligencia sostenido que permitió ubicar a las adolescentes, quienes presuntamente habrían sido vinculados al grupo armado organizado residual GAO-r Estructura Rodrigo Cadete, Bloque Jorge Suárez Briceño, facción Calarcá, mediante prácticas de reclutamiento forzado.

De acuerdo con la información preliminar recopilada en el terreno, las menores se presentaron ante las tropas sin armamento y manifestaron haber sido reclutados de manera ilícita hace aproximadamente dos meses. Durante el procedimiento, las unidades militares realizaron la inserción en el área, aseguraron el perímetro, verificaron la información mediante enlace con fuente humana, brindaron primeros auxilios y efectuaron la extracción hacia una zona segura, garantizando en todo momento su integridad.

De manera inmediata, se activó la ruta institucional para el restablecimiento de sus derechos, siendo puestos a disposición de la autoridad competente conforme a los protocolos establecidos para la atención integral de menores víctimas de este delito.

Es importante señalar que, mediante entrevistas previas realizadas a integrantes de esta estructura que se han sometido a la justicia, se ha podido establecer que este grupo armado organizado residual recurre de manera sistemática al reclutamiento forzado de menores, quienes son sometidos a condiciones degradantes, presuntamente expuestos a abusos, maltratos y a la participación en acciones violentas indiscriminadas, vulnerando gravemente sus derechos fundamentales y afectando su desarrollo integral.

El reclutamiento ilícito de menores constituye una grave violación a los derechos humanos y una infracción al Derecho Internacional Humanitario. En respuesta a esta problemática, la Décima Segunda Brigada del Ejército Nacional ha fortalecido las operaciones ofensivas contra las estructuras responsables, incrementado las labores de inteligencia para anticipar y neutralizar estos hechos, y articulado esfuerzos con entidades del Estado encargadas de la protección y restablecimiento de derechos, con el fin de prevenir nuevos casos y garantizar atención integral a las víctimas.

La Décima Segunda Brigada de la Sexta División del Ejército Nacional rechaza categóricamente cualquier práctica que atente contra la niñez colombiana y continuará desarrollando operaciones sostenidas que permitan debilitar las estructuras criminales que instrumentalizan a menores de edad, reafirmando su compromiso con la seguridad, la protección y el bienestar de las comunidades del departamento del Caquetá.

National Army rescues three minors victims of forced recruitment in rural area of ​​Florencia, Caquetá.

During military operations aimed at protecting the civilian population and defending the rights of children and adolescents, troops from the Twelfth Brigade, part of the Sixth Division of the National Army, rescued three minors in the village of Remolinos, Danubio district, rural area of ​​Florencia.

The operation was carried out by the 12th Combat Engineer Battalion, following sustained intelligence work that allowed them to locate the teenagers, who had allegedly been recruited by the Rodrigo Cadete Structure, Jorge Suárez Briceño Bloc, Calarcá faction, a residual organized armed group (GAO-r), through forced recruitment practices.

According to preliminary information gathered on the ground, the minors presented themselves to the troops unarmed and stated that they had been illegally recruited approximately two months prior. During the operation, military units entered the area, secured the perimeter, verified the information through a human source, provided first aid, and extracted the minors to a safe zone, ensuring their safety at all times.

Immediately, the institutional protocol for the restoration of their rights was activated, and they were placed at the disposal of the competent authority in accordance with the established protocols for the comprehensive care of minors who are victims of this crime.

It is important to note that, through previous interviews conducted with members of this group who have surrendered to the justice system, it has been established that this residual organized armed group systematically resorts to the forced recruitment of minors, who are subjected to degrading conditions, allegedly exposed to abuse, mistreatment, and participation in indiscriminate acts of violence, seriously violating their fundamental rights and affecting their overall development.

The illicit recruitment of minors constitutes a serious violation of human rights and an infringement of International Humanitarian Law. In response to this problem, the Twelfth Brigade of the National Army has strengthened offensive operations against the responsible organizations, increased intelligence efforts to anticipate and neutralize these acts, and coordinated efforts with state entities responsible for the protection and restoration of rights, in order to prevent new cases and guarantee comprehensive care for victims.

The Twelfth Brigade of the Sixth Division of the National Army categorically rejects any practice that threatens Colombian children and will continue to conduct sustained operations to weaken the criminal organizations that exploit minors, reaffirming its commitment to the security, protection, and well-being of the communities in the department of Caquetá.
