Día Internacional de la Educación.
El 24 de enero se celebra el Día Internacional de la Educación, una fecha proclamada por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) con el objetivo de concienciar a la población mundial acerca de la importancia de la educación para conseguir los objetivos contemplados en la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible.
La educación es la base para una sociedad justa, igualitaria y autosuficiente. La educación aumenta la productividad de las personas y como consecuencia, el potencial de crecimiento económico.
Ayuda a erradicar la pobreza y el hambre, contribuye a mejorar la salud, promueve la igualdad de género y reduce la desigualdad. En definitiva, se forman a futuras generaciones, forjando mejores ciudadanos.
Al respecto, el Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible número 4 establece una Educación Inclusiva, Equitativa y de Calidad. Con ello se pretende garantizar que la población infantil tenga acceso a la educación primaria y secundaria gratuita, para el año 2030. Asimismo, se incentiva la igualdad de acceso a la formación profesional, la eliminación de desigualdades de género y de riqueza, logrando el acceso universal a una educación superior de calidad.

La Educación: Una Conquista del Espíritu. -El deseo de aprender es una fuerza que no se detiene ante la escasez de recursos. Ante la Pregunta de Rudafra: ¿Si amo la educación, pero no tengo recursos para capacitarme: qué debo hacer?, surge una hoja de ruta para el autodidacta moderno y el soñador resiliente.
Rudafra responde con tres verbos de acción: «Investigar, luchar, persistir». -Esta reflexión nos invita a entender que la educación hoy es, más que nunca, un acto de voluntad:
La Búsqueda de Caminos: Cuando las puertas tradicionales de la academia se cierran por falta de dinero, el espíritu debe abrir otras. «Buscar todos los caminos» significa entender que el aprendizaje no es un destino fijo, sino un proceso de búsqueda activa de oportunidades, becas y mentores.
La Revolución Ciberespacial: Vivimos en una era privilegiada donde el conocimiento ha sido democratizado a través de la red. Los «medios de capacitación a distancia» son hoy la gran biblioteca de Alejandría de nuestra era. Quien tiene curiosidad y una conexión a internet, tiene una universidad al alcance de su mano.
El Conocimiento como Recompensa: Capacitarse en lo que «nos agrada» es la clave de la persistencia. El amor por la materia es el combustible necesario para «luchar» cuando el cansancio o la falta de medios materiales intentan frenar el progreso.
Reflexión para el 24 de enero: La educación no es solo un título colgado en una pared; es la capacidad de transformar nuestra realidad a través de lo que sabemos. Este día nos recuerda que, aunque los recursos falten, el hambre de saber es el recurso más valioso de todos. La educación no se recibe pasivamente; se sale a buscar, se conquista y se defiende.

January 24th is International Day of Education, a date proclaimed by the United Nations (UN) to raise global awareness about the importance of education in achieving the goals set forth in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
