



En ceremonia llevada a cabo en la Escuela Militar de Cadetes ‘José María Córdova’, 244 oficiales ascendieron al grado inmediatamente superior, un logro que también significa un nuevo compromiso con la patria, la institución y sus carreras militares.
La ceremonia fue presidida por el señor mayor general Erik Rodríguez Aparicio, segundo comandante del Ejército Nacional, quien destacó el esfuerzo de estos oficiales, que con su trabajo y sacrificio por la patria han demostrado ser dignos de portar en sus uniformes las insignias que hoy reposan sobre sus hombros.
«Este peldaño representa en el ámbito profesional un mayor nivel de responsabilidad y de liderazgo, al tiempo que abre nuevas oportunidades para responder desde su experiencia a las necesidades de la Fuerza, en el plan institucional fortalece a nuestro Ejército consolidando una cadena de mando más amplia, sólida y preparada para el cumplimiento de las difíciles misiones que enfrentan nuestros soldados día a día en el territorio nacional», declaró el alto oficial.
La ceremonia realizada en el campo de paradas estuvo llena de emoción y orgullo, padres, madres, esposas, esposos e hijos acompañaron a sus familiares en la recepción de su ascenso, el cual fue otorgado por los altos mandos. Un momento que representó un gran logro profesional, gracias a años de estudio, dedicación y compromiso con la institucionalidad.
Finalmente, cabe destacar que 90 oficiales ascendieron al grado de teniente coronel; 85, a mayor; 40, a capitán, y 29, a teniente. El Ejército Nacional reafirma su compromiso de enaltecer y reconocer el logro de oficiales, suboficiales y soldados, trabajando firmemente por la seguridad y el bienestar de nuestro país.

More than 200 officers promoted to the next higher rank.
In a ceremony held at the José María Córdova Military Cadet School, 244 officers were promoted to the next higher rank, an achievement that also signifies a renewed commitment to the nation, the institution, and their military careers.
The ceremony was presided over by Major General Erik Rodríguez Aparicio, Second Commander of the National Army, who highlighted the efforts of these officers, who, through their work and sacrifice for the country, have proven themselves worthy of wearing the insignia on their uniforms that now adorn their shoulders.
«This step represents, in the professional sphere, a greater level of responsibility and leadership, while also opening new opportunities to respond, based on their experience, to the needs of the Force. Institutionally, it strengthens our Army by consolidating a broader, more solid, and better-prepared chain of command for the fulfillment of the difficult missions that our soldiers face every day throughout the national territory,» the high-ranking officer stated.

Parents, spouses, and children accompanied their families as they received their promotions, which were awarded by high-ranking officers. This moment represented a great professional achievement, the result of years of study, dedication, and commitment to the institution.
Finally, it is worth noting that 90 officers were promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel; 85 to major; 40 to captain; and 29 to lieutenant. The National Army reaffirms its commitment to honoring and recognizing the achievements of officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers, working diligently for the security and well-being of our country.
