Fuerte ofensiva militar contra la extorsión en el Oriente antioqueño.-

Gracias a la denuncia oportuna, las autoridades ubicaron a estos sujetos y lograron su captura en flagrancia.

En una reciente operación militar, soldados del Grupo Gaula Militar Oriente de la Cuarta Brigada, con el apoyo del CTI Gaula y la Fiscalía Local 64, de Marinilla, lograron la captura en flagrancia de dos presuntos integrantes de la Subestructura Gener Morales, del grupo armado organizado Clan del Golfo, en la vereda La Rivera, del municipio de Marinilla, Antioquia.

La operación fue posible gracias a las denuncias de la comunidad, que permitieron iniciar las labores de inteligencia y seguimiento para ubicar a estos sujetos, quienes al parecer amenazaban a sus víctimas y exigían altas sumas de dinero.

Durante la acción, les fue incautado material de guerra, entre el cual había un revólver, una pistola y munición de varios calibres.

Los capturados fueron dejados a disposición de la autoridad judicial competente y deberán responder por el delito de extorsión, además de fabricación, porte o tráfico de armas de fuego y municiones. 

El Ejército Nacional reafirma su compromiso de continuar neutralizando el accionar delictivo de estructuras y personas que atentan contra la integridad, la tranquilidad y el patrimonio de las familias de la región e invita a la comunidad a realizar sus denuncias a través de la línea gratuita nacional 147, para actuar oportunamente ante situaciones como esta.

In a recent military operation, soldiers from the Eastern Military Gaula Group of the Fourth Brigade, with support from the CTI Gaula (Technical Investigation Corps) and the 64th Local Prosecutor’s Office of Marinilla, apprehended two alleged members of the Gener Morales Substructure of the Clan del Golfo organized armed group in the village of La Rivera, in the municipality of Marinilla, Antioquia.

The operation was made possible by reports from the community, which allowed authorities to initiate intelligence and surveillance operations to locate these individuals, who were allegedly threatening their victims and demanding large sums of money.

During the operation, weapons and ammunition were seized, including a revolver, a pistol, and ammunition of various calibers.

The captured individuals were turned over to the appropriate judicial authority and will face charges of extortion, as well as the manufacture, possession, or trafficking of firearms and ammunition.

The National Army reaffirms its commitment to continue neutralizing the criminal activities of groups and individuals who threaten the safety, peace, and property of families in the region and encourages the community to report any incidents through the national toll-free hotline 147, so that authorities can act promptly in situations like this.
