El 14 de marzo de 2025, la Policía de carabineros realizó una verificación en un predio ubicado en la invasión Los Lirios en la Comuna Villa Santana de Pereira, donde se adelantaba el sacrificio ilegal de cerdos.
El 27 de junio las autoridades durante labores de investigación de ese grupo delictivo incautaron. 216 kilogramos de carne de cerdo en la calle 12 del sector Kennedy de la capital e Risaralda.
La fiscalía retiró le medid de seguimiento y el juez decidió dejarlos en libertad, quedando a la espera por un juez de conocimiento para ser condenados.
De esta manera quedaron pactadas: Junior Ancizar Guerrero Cuervo 36 meses.
Miguel Ángel Dorancé Ospina Henao 35 meses. Beltrán Valencia 36 meses.
Parménides Díaz Lasso 35 meses.
Yesica Bibiana Valencia Herrera 24 meses.
Dorancé Ospina Henao 35 meses.
Y Jorge Eliécer Mojica Gaviria 24 meses.
Como parte de las acciones complementarias, las Secretarias de Salud y de Dosquebradas clausuraron dos mataderos clandestinos, además de 10 carnicerías ubicas en los municipios del Área Metropolitana.

OPERATION AGAINST ILLEGAL PIGS SLAUGHTER IN RISARALDA

On March 14, 2025, the Carabineros Police conducted an inspection of a property located in the Los Lirios settlement in the Villa Santana district of Pereira, where the illegal slaughter of pigs was taking place.
On June 27, authorities, during an investigation of this criminal group, seized 216 kilograms of pork on 12th Street in the Kennedy sector of the capital of Risaralda.
The prosecution withdrew the monitoring measure, and the judge decided to release them, pending sentencing before a trial judge.
The following sentences were agreed upon: Junior Ancizar Guerrero Cuervo, 36 months; Miguel Ángel Dorancé Ospina Henao, 35 months; Beltrán Valencia, 36 months; Parménides Díaz Lasso, 35 months; Yesica Bibiana Valencia Herrera, 24 months; Dorancé Ospina Henao, 35 months; and Jorge Eliécer Mojica Gaviria, 24 months.
As part of the complementary actions, the Health and Dosquebradas Health Departments closed two clandestine slaughterhouses, as well as 10 butcher shops located in the municipalities of the Metropolitan Area.
