Soldados Profesionales de la Fuerza Aeroespacial fortalecen competencias en derechos humanos y control de disturbios

Con el objetivo de seguir fortaleciendo sus capacidades para actuar en escenarios complejos y de interacción con la población civil, 24 Soldados Profesionales del Grupo Aéreo del Casanare participaron en una capacitación especializada liderada por la Unidad de Diálogo y Mantenimiento del Orden (UNDMO) de la Policía Nacional.

Durante dos días de instrucción teórico-práctica, el personal recibió formación en derechos humanos y el marco legal internacional, nacional e institucional; defensa personal; normatividad sobre el control de disturbios; y tácticas para la atención de aglomeraciones, manifestaciones públicas pacíficas y posibles hechos violentos que atenten contra la seguridad de la Unidad Militar Aérea (UMA).

Como parte del entrenamiento, también se realizaron ejercicios de asimilación de agentes químicos, con el fin de conocer cómo reacciona el cuerpo ante estos compuestos y cómo adaptarse a situaciones que demandan control y reacción inmediata, siempre garantizando la dignidad humana.

Estas capacitaciones, que hacen parte del programa de formación de instructores de la UNDMO, buscan asegurar el respeto a los derechos humanos, mejorar la capacidad de adaptación y toma de decisiones en situaciones críticas, contribuir a la construcción de paz y fortalecer la gestión territorial para una mejor seguridad y convivencia.

La actualización constante del conocimiento, el trabajo interinstitucional y el fortalecimiento de competencias operativas y humanas permiten a la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana responder con mayor preparación y sensibilidad a los desafíos actuales en todo el territorio nacional.

Professional Soldiers of the Aerospace Force strengthen skills in human rights and riot control
With the goal of continuing to strengthen their capabilities to operate in complex scenarios and interact with the civilian population, 24 Professional Soldiers of the Casanare Air Group participated in specialized training led by the Dialogue and Law Enforcement Unit (UNDMO) of the National Police.

During two days of theoretical and practical instruction, the personnel received training in human rights and the international, national, and institutional legal framework; self-defense; regulations on riot control; and tactics for dealing with crowds, peaceful public demonstrations, and potential acts of violence that threaten the security of the Military Air Unit (UMA).

As part of the training, chemical agent assimilation exercises were also conducted to understand how the body reacts to these compounds and how to adapt to situations that require immediate control and response, while always ensuring human dignity.

These training sessions, which are part of the UNDMO instructor training program, seek to ensure respect for human rights, improve adaptability and decision-making in critical situations, contribute to peacebuilding, and strengthen territorial management for greater security and coexistence.

Constantly updating knowledge, inter-institutional collaboration, and strengthening operational and human skills enable the Colombian Aerospace Force to respond with greater preparedness and sensitivity to current challenges throughout the country.
