El 5 de junio se celebra el Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente, con la finalidad de sensibilizar a la población mundial acerca de la importancia de cuidar nuestros ecosistemas y fomentar el respeto al medio ambiente. El Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente, fue proclamado por la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas en el año 1972, coincidiendo con el inicio de la Conferencia de Estocolmo, cuyo tema principal fue precisamente el medio ambiente.

En el marco de la celebración del Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente se deben centrar los esfuerzos en motivar a las personas y comunidades, para que se conviertan en agentes activos del desarrollo sostenible y de protección del medio ambiente. Es por ello que se invita a las personas a mejorar sus hábitos de consumo. A las empresas a desarrollar modelos más ecológicos. A los gobiernos a proteger las zonas salvajes. A los profesores a educar en valores naturales. A los jóvenes a alzar la voz por el futuro del planeta. La protección del medio ambiente requiere del apoyo de todos.

El filántropo pereirano, Hernán, subió a cuestas a Rudafra al Alto del Nudo, a las cinco de la mañana de hoy jueves.

Oteando la geografía pereirana, con poderosos telescopios, observaron a un grupo de personas lanzando basuras a la quebrada el Oso, en el suroccidente de la ciudad. ¡Esto, no lo podemos admitir!, exclamó Hernán.

Rápidamente, descendieron del Nudo Tutelar de Pereira, y se trasladaron al sitio donde habían avistado a los indolentes ecocidas. Pero… ya no estaban allí. Entonces, Rudafra, decidió emprender con llamativas Vallas, la campaña: “Prohibido arrojar basuras a la Quebrada el Oso. -Quién sea sorprendido, será condenado a 100 años de cárcel; y, sí no le alcanza la vida, sus cenizas serán lanzadas a esta corriente de agua”. –RUDAFRA.

June 5 is World Environment Day, with the aim of raising awareness among the world’s population about the importance of caring for our ecosystems and promoting respect for the environment. World Environment Day was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972, coinciding with the start of the Stockholm Conference, whose main theme was precisely the environment.

As part of the celebration of World Environment Day, efforts should focus on motivating individuals and communities to become active agents of sustainable development and environmental protection. Therefore, we urge people to improve their consumption habits; businesses to develop more ecological models; governments to protect wilderness areas; teachers to educate in natural values; and young people to speak out for the future of the planet. Environmental protection requires everyone’s support.

Hernán, a philanthropist from Pereira, carried Rudafra up to Alto del Nudo at five o’clock in the morning today, Thursday.

Scanning the Pereira landscape with powerful telescopes, they observed a group of people throwing garbage into the El Oso ravine, in the southwest of the city. «We can’t accept this!» Hernán exclaimed.

They quickly descended from the Pereira Tutelar Junction and went to the place where they had spotted the indolent ecocides. But… they were no longer there. Then, Rudafra decided to launch a campaign with eye-catching billboards: «Throwing garbage into the El Oso ravine is prohibited. Anyone caught will be sentenced to 100 years in prison; and if they don’t live long enough, their ashes will be thrown into this stream.» –RUDAFRA.
