En el municipio de Planadas, soldados del Batallón de Despliegue Rápido N.° 13, Fudra N.° 5, de la Sexta Brigada del Ejército Nacional, en coordinación con el Gaula de la Policía, capturan a un sujeto que haría parte del grupo armado organizado residual Frente Ismael Ruiz, y quien estaría encargado de extorsionar a los habitantes del sur del Tolima.

Alias Smith, presunto integrante de la estructura al margen de la ley aproximadamente desde hace 3 años, inició su accionar delictivo como red de apoyo bajo el direccionamiento del componente de finanzas y su cabecilla, en donde se encargaba de entregar panfletos y amedrentar a la población civil con citaciones y mediante reuniones ilegales en la zona rural del municipio de Planadas.

El hombre fue dejado a disposición de la autoridad competente por el presunto delito de concierto para delinquir con fines de extorsión agravada.

Nuestros soldados de la Sexta Brigada siguen afectando las economías ilícitas de estos grupos al margen de la ley, se invita a la población civil a denunciar el flagelo de la extorsión, a través de línea gratuita 147 del Gaula Militar Tolima.

Alias ​​Smith, an alleged member of the illegal organization approximately three years ago, began his criminal activities as a support network under the direction of the finance component and its leader.
