DATO ESCALOFRIANTE EN RELACIÓN CON LA SALUD EN RISARALDA.

En un debate sobre la situación de salud en Risaralda convocado por la Asamblea del Departamental, el exsecretario de Salud y actual diputado, Javier Darío Marulanda, soltó un dato realmente importante escalofriante.

Señaló que en Risaralda hay más de 1500 pacientes esperando la orden de su respectiva EPS por una operación o para un procedimiento, del cual depende su salud y su vida.

Y mientras pasa y pasa el tiempo sin que las aseguradoras resuelven el asunto: ¿Cuántas de estas van a morir?, se preguntó el Médico Marulanda.

Este dato refleja la penosa situación a que están siendo sometidos los ccolombianos por la crisis de salud, origina en muy buena parte por el incumplimiento por parte de las EPS de los pagos por prestación de servicios que deben hacer a la red de clínicas y hospitales las respectivas EPS.

In a debate on the health situation in Risaralda convened by the Departmental Assembly, former Secretary of Health and current congressman Javier Darío Marulanda revealed a truly important and chilling fact.

He pointed out that in Risaralda, there are more than 1,500 patients waiting for an order from their respective health insurance company for an operation or procedure on which their health and life depend.

And while time passes without the insurance companies resolving the issue: How many of these are going to die?, Dr. Marulanda wondered. This data reflects the dire situation Colombians are facing due to the health crisis, largely due to the failure of health insurance companies (EPS) to make payments for services provided to the respective networks of clinics and hospitals.
