La semana Santa dejó resultados positivos para el sector hotelero y de movilidad de pasajeros tanto terrestres como aéreos.

Con una ocupación hotelera cercana al 80%, el truismo risaraldense superó las expectativas para esta Semana Mayor, dado que por estas mismas fechas , en 2023, los resultados fueron negativos  por la alerta del volcán Nevado del Ruiz.

A pesar de no alcanzar los niveles de turismo registrados en el año 2022,mlos cuales llegaro4n al 85%, Pereira se mantiene como un destino turístico destacado en Colombia.

Desde Cotelco Capítulo Risaralda  se registró una ocupación hotelera del 25 al 31 de marzo para el sector rural  de 75,61% y para el sector urbano de 77,16%, lo anterior significa  un total del 76,84%

Andrés Parra, director Ejecutivo de Cotelco Risaralda, expresó al periódico www.Notieje.com que este comportamiento muy positivo, el cual está por encima del 70% que lo habíamos proyectado inicialmente y que es una cifra que va en incremento, comparándolo con el año 2023.

La terminal aeroportuaria de la ciudad reporto que en comparación al 2023 hubo un aumento en las llegadas del 49% con 312 mil 564 pasajeros, y un aumento en las salidas del 72% con 33 mil 153 pasajeros,  tanto nacionales como internacionales.

Para las llegadas hubo 10 mil pasajeros más que en 2023 y para las salidas, el Aeropuerto Internacional Matecaña reportó una diferencia de casi 14 mil pasajeros.

De acuerdo con el reporte del Ministerio de Transporte, las terminales terrestres registraron más de 3,3 millones de pasajeros, siendo las de Bogotá, Medellín, Cali y Medellín las que tuvieron más usuarios durante la temporada de semana santa.

Easter left positive results for the hotel and passenger mobility sectors, both land and air.

With a hotel occupancy close to 80%, the Riscarraldian truism exceeded expectations for this Semana Mayor, given that around this same date, in 2023, the results were negative due to the Nevado del Ruiz volcano alert.

Despite not reaching the tourism levels recorded in 2022, which will reach 85%, Pereira remains a prominent tourist destination in Colombia.

From Cotelco Risaralda Chapter, hotel occupancy was recorded from March 25 to 31 for the rural sector of 75.61% and for the urban sector of 77.16%, the above means a total of 76.84%
