Según lo anunciado por la Directora del Área Metropolitana Centro Occidente, a partir del próximo 26 de febrero cambiará el “pico y placa”,  en todo el municipio de Pereira y de Dosquebradas.

Has el 10 de marzo las autoridades de tránsito impondrán comparendos pedagógicos a quien no atienda la norma y desde el once se aplicarán las sanciones que contempla la nueva disposición.

Aunque se mantiene los días de restricción de acuerdo con el último día de la placa del vehículo que están vigentes hoy, así como los corredores viales en los cuales no aplica la disposición, si se modifica el horario a parir el cuál empieza a regir la prohibición de circulación y la hora que termina.

Esto significa, de acuerdo con el decreto oficial, que el “pico y placa “, empezará a regir en ambas ciudades a las seis de la mañana y estará vigente todo el día, hasta las ocho de la noche.

Los corredores viales exentos de la norma la vía Condina, las vías que hacen parte de la concesión Autopistas del café, el Viaducto César Gaviria Trujillo, la variante la Romelia-el Pollo, la calzada El Tigre-Cerritos, la vía Alcalá desde la glorietas San Joaquín, el tramo Turín-Marsella y la Avenida del Ferrocarril.
