Given the decision announced by the Steering Committee of the National Federation of Coffee Growers (FNC), to modify the form of purchase and recognition of the parchment and the pasilla in the formula for Colombian coffee growers, some producers in Risaralda have expressed their discontent with this and other measures imposed by the Federation for the sale of coffee.
Among the actions adopted include the full recognition of the content of excelso and pasilla, as well as the incorporation of additional measures, such as the payment of overpayments according to the degree of affectation by summer grain.
This commercial average is to protect the income of producers, it applies to purchases from Coffee Grower Cooperatives, Associative Groups and direct purchases from the FNC.
LFN will verify compliance throughout the country with these measures.
This provision will be subject to changes during the validity period that begins on February 26 and will extend until June 30, 2024.
