EL FUEGO 2023 APAGÓ LA VIDA DEL MAESTRO RUBIEL

Rubiel Ángel Grajales Ruíz, en los X Juegos Deportivos Nacionales 1974, a sus 23 años fue figura activa, con luz propia en la inolvidable gesta pereirana. Y, a los 72 años, viajó al infinito abandonando su cuerpo físico en la Clínica los Rosales, a las 8.30 p.m. sábado 11-noviembre-2023, coincidiendo con el “FUEGO DEPORTIVO JUEGOS NACIONALES Y PARANACIONALES 2023” encendido por los pereiranos: Mariana Mesa (Tenista Internacional) y Hernán Barreneche Ríos (Campeón Mundial de Atletismo).
Murió en la Clínica Los Rosales, víctima del jaque mate de su corazón. Rodeado de flores ajedrecísticas, fue velado en la Sala 2 de la Casa de la Paz, y cremado, el lunes 13/noviembre/2023, en el Parque Cementerio La Ofrenda Pereira-Kilómetro 7, vía Armenia. Deja en el camino a sus hermanos: Arcadio, Obdulio y Omar; mientras permanece vivo en la mente de sus queridas hermanitas Bertha y Rosalba.
Su vida se movió en 64 escaques. Fue sencillo, mesurado, inteligente, bondadoso, de espíritu alegre; mediana estatura, buen ser humano y excelente ciudadano. Rubiel fue el verdadero REY DE LOS CAMPEONES PEREIRANOS.
Campeones Internacionales, incluyendo a los Grandes Maestros Alonso Zapata y Alder Escobar, reconocen el amor entregado por el Maestro Rubiel Ángel, a la disciplina del Juego Ciencia; donando todos sus conocimientos, a la formación integral de niños y jóvenes, encaminados en la comprensión de la vida en un tablero de 64 casillas y en el equilibrio de dos ejércitos (16 blancas y 16 negras).
El prestigioso Arquitecto y Escritor Hernando Sierra Romero, en su libro ESTRATEGIA Y GLORIA, se refiere a RUBIEL GRAJALES como el Gran Maestro de Maestros, siendo Campeón Departamental de Ajedréz durante más de diez años consecutivos.
Su sobrina Luz Dary Rendón Grajales, lo recuerda como un ser de luz, sencillo y amable que, dedicó su vida a la enseñanza del Juego Ciencia.
Gustavo Rendón Grajales, “Señor Colombia, Rey Colombiano de Fisiculturismo”, resumió la siembra de su tío RUBIEL ÁNGEL GRAJALES RUIZ: “Primero, su humildad. Segundo, como deportista: su tenacidad, su dedicación, compromiso con el deporte que amó, el ajedrez; por eso, aplaudo esa dedicación para hacer grandes maestros como Alder Escobar y Zapata…”.
El Maestro Rubiel, formador de Campeones con la bandera pereirana, vivió para servir y ya descansa en paz.

THE FIRE 2023 EXTINGUISHED THE LIFE OF MASTER RUBIEL

Rubiel Ángel Grajales Ruíz, in the X National Sports Games 1974, at 23 years old was an active figure, with his own light in the unforgettable Pereiran feat. And, at the age of 72, he traveled to infinity, abandoning his physical body at the Los Rosales Clinic, at 8.30 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023, coinciding with the “SPORTS FIRE NATIONAL AND PARANATIONAL GAMES 2023” lit by the people of Pereira: Mariana Mesa (International Tennis Player) and Hernán Barreneche Ríos (World Athletics Champion).
He died at the Los Rosales Clinic, a victim of the checkmate of his heart. Surrounded by chess flowers, he was laid to rest in Room 2 of the House of Peace, and cremated, on Monday, November 13, 2023, in the Parque Cementerio La Ofrenda Pereira-Kilómetro 7, via Armenia. He leaves his brothers on the road: Arcadio, Obdulio and Omar; while he remains alive in the minds of his beloved little sisters Bertha and Rosalba.
His life moved in 64 squares. He was simple, measured, intelligent, kind, with a happy spirit; medium height, good human being and excellent citizen. Rubiel was the true KING OF THE PEREIRAN CHAMPIONS.
International Champions, including Grand Masters Alonso Zapata and Alder Escobar, recognize the love given by Master Rubiel Ángel to the discipline of the Science Game; donating all his knowledge to the comprehensive training of children and young people, aimed at understanding life on a board of 64 squares and in the balance of two armies (16 white and 16 black).
The prestigious Architect and Writer Hernando Sierra Romero, in his book STRATEGY AND GLORY, refers to RUBIEL GRAJALES as the Grand Master of Masters, being Departmental Chess Champion for more than ten consecutive years.
His niece Luz Dary Rendón Grajales remembers him as a being of light, simple and kind who dedicated his life to teaching the Science Game.
Gustavo Rendón Grajales, “Mr. Colombia, Colombian King of Bodybuilding,” summarized the sowing of his uncle RUBIEL ÁNGEL GRAJALES RUIZ: “First, his humility. Master Rubiel, trainer of Champions with the Pereira flag, lived to serve and now rests in peace.
