En lo corrido del año, las tropas han ubicado y desmantelado 21 laboratorios para clorhidrato de cocaína.

En el marco de la operación Catatumbo, tropas del Ejército Nacional, en coordinación con la Policía Nacional, ubicaron y desmantelaron en Buena Esperanza, Cúcuta, un laboratorio, donde fueron hallados 223 kilos de cocaína, listos para su transporte y comercialización.

El laboratorio, compuesto por cinco estructuras rudimentarias, estaría al servicio de las economías ilícitas del Frente Urbano Reinaldo Ardila Gómez, del grupo armado organizado GAO ELN. 

Las tropas hallaron cerca de 700 galones de acetona, 290 de ACPM, 100 kilogramos de soda cáustica y 80 de pergamanato.

En el registro del área se incautaron equipos, maquinaria y elementos empleados en el procesamiento del alcaloide.

En lo corrido del presente año, las tropas han ubicado y desmantelado 21 laboratorios para clorhidrato de cocaína y 101 para pasta base de coca, golpeando contundentemente las economías ilícitas de los grupos armados dedicados al narcotráfico en Norte de Santander.

As part of Operation Catatumbo, National Army troops, in coordination with the National Police, located and dismantled a laboratory in Buena Esperanza, Cúcuta, where 223 kilos of cocaine were found, ready for transportation and sale.

The laboratory, composed of five rudimentary structures, is believed to be serving the illicit economies of the Reinaldo Ardila Gómez Urban Front, part of the organized armed group GAO ELN.

Troops found nearly 700 gallons of acetone, 290 of diesel, 100 kilograms of caustic soda, and 80 kilograms of pergamanate.

During the search of the area, equipment, machinery, and items used in the processing of the alkaloid were seized.

So far this year, troops have located and dismantled 21 laboratories for cocaine hydrochloride and 101 for coca paste, severely impacting the illicit operations of armed groups involved in drug trafficking in Norte de Santander.
