Tropas de la Séptima Brigada del Ejército Nacional incautan más de 11.000 municiones al Clan del Golfo.

Soldados del Batallón de Artillería de Campaña N.° 7, del Ejército Nacional, gracias a información de inteligencia militar y en coordinación con el CTI Sección de Análisis Criminal (SAC) Villavicencio, ubicaron un depósito ilegal que pertenecería al GAO Clan del Golfo, Subestructura Gonzalo Oquendo Urrego, en zona rural de Puerto López, Meta.

El hallazgo se produjo en la vereda La Serranía, de este municipio, donde fueron incautados más de 11.000 cartuchos calibre 5.56 mm, los cuales, de acuerdo con la información recolectada, serían destinados a fortalecer las comisiones armadas de esta organización criminal.

Según las primeras investigaciones, este material de guerra habría sido acopiado por alias Juan Carlos, señalado como presunto cabecilla principal de la estructura.

De manera inmediata, se realizaron los actos urgentes correspondientes por el delito de fabricación, tráfico y porte de armas de fuego y municiones, dejando el material incautado a disposición de las autoridades competentes.

Con esta operación, la Séptima Brigada del Ejército Nacional propina un nuevo golpe a las capacidades logísticas y criminales del Clan del Golfo, ratificando su compromiso inquebrantable con la seguridad y la tranquilidad del pueblo colombiano.
