Hoy continúan los bloqueos en la vía que conecta el Eje Cafetero con antioquia, a la altura de Marmato, donde 300 mineros de Quinchía e unieron al paro nacional en protesta por los incumplimientos del gobierno de Gustavo Francisco Petro Urrego, .

Los manifestantes,  que exinen  la formalización de la pequeña minería tradicional y ancestral, llevan casi 40 años esperando una respuesta.

Asuu Mora, presidente de la Asociación de Mineros Tradicionales  y ancestrales de Quinchía. Advirtió que los bloqueos , se levantaran cada seis horas  por 30 minutos , podrán volverse permanentes.

La movilización reúne a 5 mil mineros  de Risaralda, Antioquia y Caldas.

THE MINING STRIKE GETTING WORSE.

Today the blockades continue on the road that connects the Eje Cafetero with Antioquia, near Marmato, where 300 miners from Quinchía joined the national strike in protest of the failures of the government of Gustavo Francisco Petro Urrego.

The protesters, who demand the formalization of traditional and ancestral small-scale mining, have been waiting for a response for almost 40 years.

Asuu Mora, president of the Association of Traditional and Ancestral Miners of Quinchía. He warned that the blockades, which will be lifted every six hours for 30 minutes, could become permanent.

The mobilization brings together 5 thousand miners from Risaralda, Antioquia and Caldas.
