No pueden ser más preocupantes los registros de violencia intrafamiliar y de género En el departamento de Risaralda.

Según el instituto Nacional de Salud, entre el primero de enero y el tres de febrero de este año se presentaron 316 casos de violencia de esta naturaleza, lo que significa la aterradora cifra de más de nueve hechos en promedio cada día.

Si comparamos los casos de violencia que ocurrieron en los primeros 35 días de este año, con los sucedidos en el mismo periodo del año pasado,  se aprecia fácilmente un crecimiento en esta conducta en 16 casos, lo que significa  un aumento de más de 3 puntos porcentuales.

Ahora si se mira el comportamiento de los departamentos que conforman el Eje Cafetero, Risaralda de lejos es la región con más alto número de casos de violencia de género e intrafamiliar el departamento registró 316 casos en las primeras cinco semanas del año, Caldas conoció de 255 hechos de violencia y el Quindío 182.

The records of domestic and gender violence in the department of Risaralda could not be more worrying.

According to the National Institute of Health, between January 1 and February 3 of this year there were 316 cases of violence of this nature, which means the terrifying number of more than nine events on average each day.

If we compare the cases of violence that occurred in the first 35 days of this year, with those that occurred in the same period last year, we can easily see a growth in this behavior in 16 cases, which means an increase of more than 3 points percentages.

Now if you look at the behavior of the departments that make up the Coffee Region, Risaralda is by far the region with the highest number of cases of gender and domestic violence. The department registered 316 cases in the first five weeks of the year, Caldas knew of 255 acts of violence and Quindío 182.
