Ruben Dario Franco Narvaez: ueves 29 de enero 2026 – DÌA MUNDIAL DEL ROMPECABEZAS.
Todos hemos jugado alguna vez al rompecabezas o hemos armado un puzzle en casa. Hoy 29 de enero se celebra el Día Mundial del Rompecabezas o Puzzle Day, en inglés.
Este día se celebra desde 2005 y se rumorea que fue una creación de las empresas jugueteras de EEUU para aumentar las ventas. Se dice que fue el geógrafo inglés John Spilsbury quien se inventó el primer puzzle de la historia alrededor del año 1766. Tomó un mapa y lo dividió en partes poniendo como referencia las fronteras políticas de los países.Su idea era que los niños aprendieran geografía.
En 1820, los puzzles comenzaron a comercializarse como juegos para todas la edades. Aunque la época dorada de los puzzles se vivió en la época de los años 20 y 30 del siglo pasado.
Hoy en día los puzzles o rompecabezas siguen siendo uno de los pasatiempos más populares del mundo.

El Rompecabezas de la Humanidad: El Reto de un Líder
Armar un juego de mesa requiere paciencia, pero armar una sociedad armónica requiere una visión trascendental. Ante la Pregunta de Rudafra: ¿Serías capaz de crear un buen rompecabezas?, la respuesta nos propone el diseño de una obra maestra de valores.
Rudafra propone un desafío supremo: «Elaboraré un rompecabezas para lograr la paz». Este rompecabezas, espiritual y social, se compone de piezas fundamentales que pocos logran encajar con maestría:
Las Piezas de la Ley y el Corazón: Al incluir los «diez mandamientos para lograr la paz» y el «amor por la vida», Rudafra nos dice que el orden externo (las reglas) debe estar impulsado por un sentimiento interno (el amor). Sin ambas piezas, el rompecabezas queda incompleto.
La Geometría de la Convivencia: La «sana convivencia» y el «respeto a cada ser viviente» son las piezas de los bordes, las que dan estructura y límite a nuestras acciones. Respetar la vida en todas sus formas es reconocer que cada ser es una pieza vital del ecosistema humano.
El Premio al Entendimiento: La recompensa para quien resuelva este complejo diseño es el título de «Mejor Líder Mundial». Esto nos enseña que el verdadero liderazgo no es el que domina, sino el que tiene la sabiduría de unir voluntades dispersas para construir un destino común de paz.
Reflexión para el 29 de enero. -Este día nos invita a pensar: ¿Qué piezas estamos aportando nosotros al mundo? El rompecabezas de la paz no se resuelve en soledad, pero requiere que cada individuo se convierta en una pieza de respeto y amor. El mundo es un rompecabezas gigante, y solo aquellos capaces de unir la ética con la acción podrán guiar a la humanidad hacia un futuro mejor.

WORLD PUZZLE DAY

We’ve all played with jigsaw puzzles at some point, or put one together at home. Today, January 29th, is World Puzzle Day.

This day has been celebrated since 2005, and it’s rumored that it was created by US toy companies to boost sales. It’s said that the English geographer John Spilsbury invented the first jigsaw puzzle in history around 1766. He took a map and divided it into pieces, using the political borders of countries as reference points. His idea was for children to learn geography.

In 1820, puzzles began to be marketed as games for all ages. The golden age of puzzles was during the 1920s and 30s.
Today, puzzles remain one of the most popular pastimes in the world.

The Geometry of Coexistence: «Healthy coexistence» and «respect for every living being» are the edge pieces, those that give structure and limits to our actions. Respecting life in all its forms is recognizing that every being is a vital part of the human ecosystem.
The Prize for Understanding: The reward for those who solve this complex design is the title of «World’s Best Leader.» This teaches us that true leadership is not about domination, but about having the wisdom to unite disparate wills to build a shared destiny of peace.
