Novena Brigada del Ejército Nacional invita al gran desfile del 20 de julio en Neiva

En el marco de la conmemoración de los 215 años del Grito de Independencia, la Novena Brigada del Ejército Nacional invita a todos los huilenses a sumarse a esta gran celebración nacional, entrando con orgullo y compromiso en #ModoPatrio. Esta es una oportunidad para rendir homenaje a quienes forjaron la libertad de nuestra nación y a los hombres y mujeres que hoy, con valentía y entrega, siguen defendiendo la soberanía del pueblo colombiano.

En Neiva, la jornada patriótica iniciará a las 7:00 de la mañana con una solemne misa en la Catedral Inmaculada Concepción de Neiva, como acto de acción de gracias por Colombia y sus héroes. Posteriormente, a las 8:00 a.m., se llevará a cabo la izada del Pabellón Nacional y la entrega de condecoraciones en la Plaza de Banderas de la Gobernación del Huila, como reconocimiento al mérito, la valentía y el servicio de quienes encarnan el amor a la patria.

El acto central será el gran desfile militar, policial e interinstitucional, que comenzará a las 9:00 de la mañana, partiendo desde la Carrera 4 con Calle 1, en sentido sur–norte. La ruta continuará frente a la tarima principal ubicada en la Gobernación del Huila, seguirá por la Calle 10, tomará la Carrera 5, continuará por la Calle 21 y culminará en la Carrera 16. Este recorrido será una verdadera muestra de fuerza, disciplina y compromiso institucional.

Durante el desfile, la ciudadanía podrá apreciar capacidades de vanguardia como los sistemas aéreos no tripulados y antidrones, herramientas que fortalecen la inteligencia militar y la seguridad nacional. Así mismo, estarán presentes el Grupo de Mando y el Estado Mayor de la Novena Brigada, el tradicional Bloque de Banderas, el paso solemne de nuestros héroes heridos en combate, y las bandas de guerra y de músicos que engalanarán esta celebración.

Las tropas que integran los distintos batallones de la Novena Brigada marcharán con gallardía: los Batallones de Infantería N.º 26 Cacique Pigoanza y N.º 27 Magdalena; Artillería Tenerife con sus piezas; Alta Montaña N.º 9; los Ingenieros de Desminado Humanitario N.º 5 y de Infraestructura N.º 55 con su maquinaria pesada; el Batallón Especial Energético y Vial N.º 12; el Batallón de Apoyo y Servicio para el Combate con destacada participación del bloque femenino; la Policía Militar, el Grupo Gaula Militar Huila y la unidad élite Badre de la Fuerza de Despliegue Rápido N.º 5.

El público también podrá apreciar la exposición de vehículos tácticos de alto desempeño como el Hunter (blindado de alta protección), el Humvee (vehículo de exploración) y la motorizada de reacción rápida. El desfile culminará con la participación del Bloque de la Reserva Activa, símbolo de experiencia, honor y patriotismo al servicio de la nación.

Este 20 de julio, la Novena Brigada del Ejército Nacional desfila por la libertad, cumpliendo con su deber constitucional de proteger a los colombianos”, coronel Henry Herrera Arenas, Comandante Novena Brigada.

The Ninth Brigade of the National Army invites you to the grand parade on July 20 in Neiva
As part of the commemoration of the 215th anniversary of the Cry of Independence, the Ninth Brigade of the National Army invites all Huila residents to join this great national celebration, entering with pride and commitment in #PatrioMode. This is an opportunity to pay tribute to those who forged the freedom of our nation and to the men and women who today, with courage and dedication, continue to defend the sovereignty of the Colombian people.

In Neiva, the patriotic event will begin at 7:00 a.m. with a solemn Mass at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Neiva, as an act of thanksgiving for Colombia and its heroes. Later, at 8:00 a.m., the National Flag will be raised and decorations will be presented at the Flag Plaza of the Huila Governor’s Office, in recognition of the merit, bravery, and service of those who embody the love of the homeland.

The central event will be the grand military, police, and inter-institutional parade, which will begin at 9:00 a.m., departing from Carrera 4 and Calle 1, heading south to north. The route will continue in front of the main platform located at the Huila Governor’s Office, along Calle 10, Carrera 5, Calle 21, and culminating at Carrera 16. This tour will be a true display of strength, discipline, and institutional commitment.

During the parade, citizens will be able to appreciate cutting-edge capabilities such as unmanned aerial systems and anti-drone systems, tools that strengthen military intelligence and national security. Also present will be the Command Group and General Staff of the Ninth Brigade, the traditional Flag Block, the solemn procession of our heroes wounded in combat, and the marching bands and musicians who will grace this celebration.

The troops comprising the various battalions of the Ninth Brigade will march gallantly: the 26th Cacique Pigoanza and 27th Magdalena Infantry Battalions; the Tenerife Artillery with its units; the 9th High Mountain Battalion; the 5th Humanitarian Demining Engineers and the 55th Infrastructure Engineers with their heavy machinery; the 12th Special Energy and Road Battalion; the Combat Support and Service Battalion, with a prominent participation of the female battalion; the Military Police, the Huila Military Gaula Group, and the elite Badre unit of the 5th Rapid Deployment Force.

The public will also be able to appreciate the display of high-performance tactical vehicles such as the Hunter (high-protection armored vehicle), the Humvee (reconnaissance vehicle), and the rapid reaction vehicle. The parade will culminate with the participation of the Active Reserve Bloc, a symbol of experience, honor, and patriotism in service to the nation.
