El Ejército Nacional se convierte en escudo y aliento en Vichada ante emergencias invernales

Los soldados han desplegado una destacada labor humanitaria, reafirmando su compromiso con las comunidades más afectadas. Más de 1.000 viviendas han resultado damnificadas y cientos de familias han sido evacuadas, en una operación constante y decidida por parte del Ejército Nacional.

Bajo un cielo gris y un río que no deja de crecer, en medio del lodo y la incertidumbre, se escuchan botas que no retroceden. Son los pasos firmes de soldados que, más allá del uniforme, se han convertido en los primeros en llegar, los últimos en irse y en quienes muchas comunidades han encontrado apoyo cuando más lo necesitan.

Desde que la Gobernación del Vichada declaró la calamidad pública, el pasado 27 de junio mediante el Decreto 0462, las lluvias no han dado tregua. En municipios como Puerto Carreño, Santa Rosalía, Cumaribo y La Primavera, las aguas han arrasado con cultivos, destruido vías y dejado a cientos de familias al borde del desespero. Solo en Puerto Carreño, más de 654 familias se han visto afectadas; pero también allí, en esas mismas calles inundadas, el Ejército Nacional ha estado presente.

A través de acciones como evacuaciones y reubicaciones, se ha atendido a cientos de familias en zonas ribereñas y barrios vulnerables. También se han entregado ayudas humanitarias y se ha trabajado incansablemente en la difusión de mensajes preventivos, comunicando, a través de la emisora del Ejército, información que permita reducir los riesgos ante nuevos aumentos en los niveles hídricos. Así, los soldados se han convertido en un pilar de apoyo y esperanza en medio de la emergencia.

En esta difícil temporada de lluvias, el Ejército Nacional ha estado hombro a hombro con las comunidades, atendiendo de manera directa las emergencias presentadas. Más de 1.000 viviendas han resultado afectadas, y los soldados han estado en primera línea: evacuando enseres, prestando ayuda en la construcción de viviendas temporales y llevando esperanza a las familias damnificadas.

?Gracias al apoyo solidario de la familia militar, hemos recolectado ayudas humanitarias que están siendo entregadas directamente por nuestros hombres y mujeres en terreno. Además, a través de nuestras emisoras institucionales, hemos emitido advertencias y mensajes preventivos para alertar a la población sobre posibles riesgos asociados a las lluvias, buscando reducir al máximo las afectaciones?, señaló el coronel Guillermo Domínguez, jefe de operaciones de la Vigésima Octava Brigada.

La labor del Ejército en esta emergencia demuestra su compromiso con la protección y el bienestar de los colombianos, reafirmando que, a través de sus tropas de Acción Integral, brinda atención humanitaria y solidaria a quien más lo necesita en los momentos más difíciles.

Under a gray sky and a river that never stops rising, amidst the mud and uncertainty, boots can be heard that never relent. They are the firm steps of soldiers who, beyond their uniforms, have become the first to arrive, the last to leave, and in whom many communities have found support when they need it most.

Since the Vichada Governor’s Office declared a public calamity on June 27 through Decree 0462, the rains have not let up. In municipalities such as Puerto Carreño, Santa Rosalía, Cumaribo, and La Primavera, floodwaters have devastated crops, destroyed roads, and left hundreds of families on the brink of despair. In Puerto Carreño alone, more than 654 families have been affected; however, the National Army has also been present there, in those same flooded streets.

Through actions such as evacuations and relocations, hundreds of families in riverside areas and vulnerable neighborhoods have been assisted. Humanitarian aid has also been delivered, and the Army has worked tirelessly to disseminate preventive messages, communicating information through the Army radio to reduce risks in the face of further rises in water levels. Thus, the soldiers have become a pillar of support and hope in the midst of the emergency.

During this difficult rainy season, the National Army has stood shoulder to shoulder with the communities, directly responding to emergencies. More than 1,000 homes have been affected, and soldiers have been on the front lines: evacuating belongings, helping to build temporary housing, and bringing hope to affected families.

«Thanks to the solidarity support of the military family, we have collected humanitarian aid that is being delivered directly by our men and women on the ground. Additionally, through our institutional radio stations, we have issued warnings and preventive messages to alert the population about possible risks associated with the rains, seeking to minimize the impact,» said Colonel Guillermo Domínguez, chief of operations for the Twenty-Eighth Brigade.

The Army’s work in this emergency demonstrates its commitment to the protection and well-being of Colombians, reaffirming that, through its Comprehensive Action troops, it provides humanitarian and supportive care to those most in need in the most difficult times.
