Asimismo, estos sujetos fueron requeridos por las autoridades por el delito de porte ilegal de armas de fuego, presuntamente usadas para amedrentar a sus víctimas.

En desarrollo de operaciones enmarcadas en el Plan de Campaña Ayacucho Plus, tropas del Gaula Militar Sinú, adscritas a la Décima Primera Brigada del Ejército Nacional, de manera coordinada con la Seccional de Investigación Criminal y Judicial de la Policía Nacional, capturaron en flagrancia a dos presuntos integrantes del grupo armado organizado Clan del Golfo, conocidos como alias Óscar y alias Jhon.

El hecho se produjo en el municipio de Chinú, Córdoba, donde además los uniformados incautaron un revólver, varios cartuchos calibre 38 mm, una granada de mano, una motocicleta y un celular, elementos que se encontraban en poder de los sujetos.

De acuerdo con las investigaciones, alias Óscar presenta anotaciones judiciales por el delito de fabricación, tráfico, porte o tenencia de armas de fuego o municiones, mientras que alias Jhon por concierto para delinquir agravado y tráfico, fabricación o porte de estupefacientes.

Según se pudo establecer, estos individuos harían parte de la Subestructura Javier Yepes Cantero y serían los encargados del cobro de extorsiones a ganaderos, comerciantes y transportadores del municipio en mención.

Alias Óscar y alias Jhon fueron dejados a disposición de la Fiscalía General de la Nación y deberán responder por el delito de fabricación, tráfico o porte de armas de fuego con fines extorsivos.

El Ejército Nacionalseguirá adelantando operaciones militares para reforzar la seguridad en la región y proteger a la población civil. De igual manera, se invita a los cordobeses a que denuncien a través de la línea 147 cualquier situación sospechosa o hecho delictivo que se presente  en sus alrededores.

During operations within the framework of the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan, troops from the Sinú Military Gaula (Gaula Militar Sinú), attached to the Eleventh Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with the Criminal and Judicial Investigation Section of the National Police, captured two alleged members of the organized armed group Clan del Golfo, known as alias Óscar and alias Jhon, in flagrante delicto.

According to the investigation, these individuals were allegedly part of the Javier Yepes Cantero substructure and were responsible for collecting extortion money from ranchers, merchants, and transporters in the aforementioned municipality.

Alias ​​Óscar and alias Jhon were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office and will face charges of manufacturing, trafficking, or carrying firearms for extortion purposes.

The National Army will continue to carry out military operations to strengthen security in the region and protect the civilian population. Likewise, residents of Córdoba are encouraged to report any suspicious situations or criminal acts that occur in their surroundings through hotline 147.
