Ejército Nacional logró importantes resultados durante el puente festivo de San Pedro, en el Tolima

Entre las capturas se destaca la de una mujer que hacía parte de un grupo de delincuencia organizado de extranjeros, quienes venían sembrando el temor en el municipio de Natagaima, haciéndose pasar por  supuestos integrantes del extinto Frente 13 Iván Ríos.

El control militar del área en el departamento del Tolima, por parte de la Sexta Brigada y sus batallones, permitió la realización de importantes capturas en el territorio tolimense, dentro de las que se destaca la captura de una mujer de nacionalidad venezolana, por parte del Gaula Militar y Policía Huila, en límites entre Tolima y Huila, quien hacía parte de un grupo delincuencial organizado, haciéndose pasar por integrante del extinto Frente 13 Iván Ríos, para realizar extorsiones y amedrantamientos a la población civil del area rural de Natagaima. Este grupo además es responsable de grafitear recientemente un camión con iniciales de mencionado grupo para generar temor entre la población.

Con esta captura, junto a la individualización de otros integrantes que pretentenden intimidar con el supuesto resurgimiento de este Frente, se envía un mensaje de tranquilidad a los habitantes de esta parte del sur del Tolima, en especial la vereda La Palmita, y se invita a denunciar a través de la línea gratuita 147 cualquier intento de extorsión en sus diferentes modalidades.

También se destaca la captura de una mujer en el municipio de Lérida, por el Gaula Militar Tolima, quien hacia varios meses, a través de llamadas telefónicas y haciéndose pasar por integrante de la Fuerza Pública, venía extorsionando a comerciantes de esta parte del norte del Tolima.

Durante este puente festivo se adelantaron 102 puestos de control, con 411 hombre y 15 pelotones de los diferentes batallones, haciendo presencia en los principales ejes viales del Tolima. En estos controles y los que hacen regularmente los soldados de la Sexta Brigada en los 47 municipios, se capturó a 4 personas en flagrancia por diferentes delitos y 3 por orden judicial; se incautaron armas, celulares y estupefacientes.

Estos resultados  contribuyen a la seguridad del territorio tolimense gracias al trabajo articulado entre le Ejército Nacional, la Fuerza Aeroespacial, la Policía Nacional y la Fiscalía General de la Nación.

She was part of an organized criminal group, posing as a member of the now-defunct Iván Ríos 13th Front, in order to extort and intimidate the civilian population in the rural area of ​​Natagaima. This group was also responsible for recently spray-painting a truck with the initials of the aforementioned group to generate fear among the population.

With this arrest, along with the identification of other members who intend to intimidate with the alleged resurgence of this Front, a message of reassurance is sent to the residents of this part of southern Tolima, especially the La Palmita district, and they are encouraged to report any extortion attempts of any kind through the toll-free number 147.

Also noteworthy is the arrest of a woman in the municipality of Lérida by the Tolima Military Gaula (Gaula Militar), who for several months had been extorting merchants in this part of northern Tolima through phone calls and posing as a member of the Public Force.
