Capturas en flagrancia y contundentes resultados operacionales en San Martín, Cesar

La captura de cuatro personas e incautación de armamento y estupefacientes hacen parte del esfuerzo por debilitar estructuras criminales en el sur del departamento.

Tropas del Batallón de Infantería N.º 14 Capitán Antonio Ricaurte, en coordinación con la Sijín y Sipol de la Policía Nacional, capturaron en flagrancia a cuatro personas en el corregimiento La Curva, jurisdicción del municipio de San Martín, Cesar, presuntos responsables de homicidios en el sur de este departamento.

Los hechos se registraron durante diligencias de registro y allanamiento que permitieron la ubicación de tres hombres y una mujer, a quienes se les halló en su poder un arma de fuego tipo escopeta, cartuchos de diferente calibre, radios de comunicaciones y estupefacientes.

Dentro de los capturados se encuentra alias Pollo, quien tendría una trayectoria criminal de más de dos años y estaría dedicado a expandir las actividades ilícitas de tráfico de estupefacientes en varias veredas y corregimientos de San Martín, Cesar. 

Alias el Pollo, al parecer, haría parte de un grupo delincuencial organizado vinculado a las Autodefensas Conquistadoras de la Sierra Nevada, y, en el momento de su captura, era quien portaba los radios de comunicación, presuntamente  con el fin de alertar sobre la presencia de la Fuerza Pública en el sector.

Los capturados quedaron a disposición de la autoridad judicial competente para responder por los presuntos delitos de tráfico, fabricación y porte de estupefacientes y tráfico, fabricación, porte o tenencia de armas de fuego o municiones.

Acciones como esta reflejan el compromiso constante de nuestra institución con la seguridad y bienestar de la población civil en la región. 

Estas operaciones de alto impacto no solo buscan desmantelar estructuras criminales, sino también devolver la tranquilidad y la confianza a las comunidades del sur del Cesar.

De igual forma, a través de la línea 147 del Gaula Militar o 107 contra el terrorismo, se invita a la población en general a denunciar de manera oportuna, cualquier situación que altere el orden público o permita la neutralizaron de las intenciones criminales de grupos armados o delincuenciales y así garantizar la reacción eficiente de las tropas que velan arduamente por la seguridad y tranquilidad de la región.

Troops from the 14th Infantry Battalion, Captain Antonio Ricaurte, in coordination with the Sijín and Sipol police forces of the National Police, arrested four people in flagrante delicto in the La Curva district, within the jurisdiction of the municipality of San Martín, Cesar, suspected of being responsible for homicides in the southern part of the department.

The events were recorded during search and seizure operations, which led to the location of three men and a woman. They were found in possession of a shotgun-type firearm, cartridges of various calibers, communication radios, and narcotics.

Among those captured was alias Pollo, who has a criminal history of more than two years and is believed to be involved in expanding illicit drug trafficking activities in several villages and townships of San Martín, Cesar.

Alias ​​Pollo is apparently part of an organized criminal group linked to the Sierra Nevada Conquerors Self-Defense Forces. At the time of his capture, he was carrying the communication radios, presumably to alert them to the presence of law enforcement in the area.

Those arrested were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority to answer for the alleged crimes of trafficking, manufacturing, and possession of narcotics, and trafficking, manufacturing, possession, or possession of firearms or ammunition.

Actions such as this reflect our institution’s ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of the civilian population in the region.

These high-impact operations not only seek to dismantle criminal organizations but also restore peace and confidence to the communities of southern Cesar.
