En el Huila, más de una tonelada de marihuana no llegó a su destino gracias al Ejército Nacional

El cargamento, oculto en un camión, habría salido del Cauca y estaría destinado a financiar a las estructuras criminales que delinquen en el departamento.

En una contundente operación contra el narcotráfico, tropas del Batallón de Infantería N.° 26 Cacique Pigoanza y el Grupo Liviano de Caballería N.° 6, de la Novena Brigada, en coordinación con la Policía Antinarcóticos, lograron la incautación de 1084 kilogramos de marihuana, equivalentes a 1.041.000 dosis. El operativo se llevó a cabo en la vía I-24, en el sector de Puerto Seco en Gigante, departamento del Huila.

La operación se desarrolló en un puesto de control, donde fue interceptado un vehículo tipo NPR que transportaba marihuana camuflada en cajas, ocultas bajo otra carga de mercancía. Durante la inspección, las autoridades capturaron a dos personas, quienes deberán responder por el delito de tráfico, fabricación o porte de estupefacientes.

Según las investigaciones, la droga provenía del departamento del Cauca y tendría un valor estimado de más de 1200 millones de pesos en el mercado colombiano, y cerca de 6904 millones de pesos en el exterior. Se presume que el cargamento pertenecía a la Comisión Hernando González Acosta, del Bloque Central Isaías Pardo, una estructura dedicada al financiamiento criminal a través del tráfico de sustancias ilícitas.

Con este resultado, el Ejército Nacional continúa debilitando las fuentes de financiamiento de los grupos armados organizados que delinquen en la región, reafirmando su compromiso con la seguridad y la tranquilidad de los habitantes del Huila.

In a sweeping operation against drug trafficking, troops from the 26th Cacique Pigoanza Infantry Battalion and the 6th Light Cavalry Group of the Ninth Brigade, in coordination with the Anti-Narcotics Police, seized 1,084 kilograms of marijuana, equivalent to 1,041,000 doses. The operation took place on Highway I-24, in the Puerto Seco area of ​​Gigante, Huila Department.

The operation took place at a checkpoint, where an NPR-type vehicle was intercepted transporting marijuana camouflaged in boxes, hidden under another load of merchandise. During the inspection, authorities arrested two individuals, who will face charges of trafficking, manufacturing, or carrying narcotics.

According to the investigation, the drugs originated in the department of Cauca and have an estimated value of more than 1.2 billion pesos on the Colombian market, and approximately 6.904 billion pesos abroad. The shipment is believed to have belonged to the Hernando González Acosta Commission, part of the Isaías Pardo Central Bloc, a structure dedicated to criminal financing through the trafficking of illicit substances.

With this result, the National Army continues to weaken the sources of financing for organized armed groups operating in the region, reaffirming its commitment to the security and peace of the inhabitants of Huila.
