Un grupo de niños del municipio de Quinchía, Risaralda, vive hoy una experiencia que marcará sus vidas para siempre. Los integrantes del club Quinchía Pasión por el Fútbol viajan a la República Argentina, considerada una de las mayores potencias del fútbol mundial, donde disfrutan durante una semana de una intensa agenda deportiva y cultural en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Este logro fue posible gracias al trabajo conjunto del profesor Andrés Gómez y los padres de familia, quienes unieron esfuerzos para hacer realidad este sueño colectivo.

La travesía por tierras argentinas incluye la visita a algunos de los estadios y clubes más emblemáticos del fútbol sudamericano, entre ellos el legendario estadio La Bombonera, casa del Club Atlético Boca Juniors, uno de los recintos deportivos más icónicos del mundo. Los jóvenes futbolistas también tienen la oportunidad de compartir con jugadores profesionales de las categorías Sub-13, lo que representa un invaluable aporte a su formación deportiva y humana.

Desde el club destacaron el profundo significado de esta visita: «Gracias a Dios durante esta visita tenemos la oportunidad de conocer distintos estadios y clubes de Argentina, además de compartir con jugadores de fútbol profesional de las categorías Sub-13, fortaleciendo así la formación deportiva». Las palabras reflejan no solo el entusiasmo de los niños, sino también la gratitud de toda una comunidad que apostó por el deporte como herramienta de desarrollo y transformación social.

Este viaje no llegó de manera fácil ni inmediata. El proyecto enfrentó importantes dificultades presupuestales que obligaron a postergar la travesía durante varios meses. Sin embargo, la perseverancia del cuerpo técnico y el compromiso de los padres de familia lograron superar los obstáculos económicos, convirtiendo lo que parecía un sueño lejano en una realidad tangible para estos jóvenes talentos risaraldenses.

El impacto de esta experiencia trasciende lo meramente deportivo. Los niños de Quinchía no solo aprenden de fútbol en la cuna de Maradona y Messi; también se nutren de una experiencia cultural internacional que amplía su visión del mundo, fortalece su carácter y les demuestra que, con esfuerzo colectivo y determinación, los sueños más grandes pueden hacerse realidad, sin importar el tamaño del municipio del que se provenga.

Children from Quinchía Conquer Argentina: A Week of Football, Dreams, and Culture in Buenos Aires

A group of children from the municipality of Quinchía, in the Risaralda department of Colombia, are living an unforgettable experience. The young members of the Quinchía Pasión por el Fútbol club are currently visiting Argentina, one of the world’s greatest football nations, where they are spending a full week immersed in sports and cultural activities in the city of Buenos Aires. This achievement was made possible through the combined efforts of coach Andrés Gómez and the children’s families, who worked together to turn a long-held dream into reality.

The trip includes visits to some of the most iconic football stadiums and clubs in South America, among them the legendary La Bombonera stadium, home of Club Atlético Boca Juniors. The young players are also having the opportunity to train and interact with professional-level Under-13 players, an experience that greatly enriches their athletic development and personal growth.

Club representatives expressed their heartfelt gratitude: «Thank God, during this visit we have the opportunity to explore different stadiums and clubs in Argentina, as well as share time with professional football players in the Under-13 categories, thereby strengthening our sports training.» These words reflect not only the children’s excitement, but also the pride of an entire community that has embraced sport as a vehicle for growth and social transformation.

The journey was not without its challenges. The project faced significant financial obstacles that forced its postponement for several months. Nevertheless, the persistence of the coaching staff and the unwavering commitment of the families ultimately overcame those hurdles, turning what once seemed like a distant dream into a living reality for these young talents from Risaralda.

The impact of this experience goes far beyond football. The children of Quinchía are not only learning the sport in the homeland of Maradona and Messi — they are also gaining an international cultural experience that broadens their worldview, builds their character, and proves that with collective effort and determination, even the biggest dreams can come true, regardless of the size of the town you come from.
