La confesión que hizo Nicolás Petro Burgos, diputado del Atlántico e hijo del presidente Gustavo Petro, acrecentó la tormenta política que se desató con sus declaraciones, en torno al supuesto ingreso de dineros ilícitos a la campaña a la Presidencia de 2022.

En este sentido, diversos sectores políticos, legislativos y de opinión han dado a conocer su posición en torno a lo que podría pasar con la gobernabilidad y estabilidad del país.

El profesor de la Escuela Superior de Administración Pública, Jacinto Pineda Jiménez aseguró que, “este tipo de hechos no son nada nuevos en la historia de la política colombiana, ya que desde hace muchos años el ingreso de recursos ilícitos se ha presentado y no se ha detenido”.

De otro lado y según su análisis, lo que se podría generar es un problema de la legitimidad en el mandato del Jefe de Estado y la estabilidad gubernamental.

“Si el proceso de elección está manchado por el ingreso de recursos ilícitos, la legitimidad de ese mandato se pierde. En lo que me quiero centrar es en los problemas en la legitimidad de un gobierno, que inmerso en sus propias torpezas va camino al ojo del huracán y esto conlleva a que muy buena parte de su acción y sus diferentes acometidos estatales, siempre esté en discusión. Pero también, esta situación genera un problema de gobernabilidad, en el sentido de la construcción de consensos”, señaló.

En cuanto a lo que podría suceder con el presidente Gustavo Petro si se confirma el ingreso de dichos dineros ilícitos a la campaña presidencial, el experto mencionó las repercusiones.

“Será un presidente que tendrá que entrar a la defensa legal, y amén de las decisiones que libremente se tomen en este escenario jurídico con sus debidas consecuencias que están previstas en la constitución y la ley. Pero yo quiero ir más allá, y es el problema en el desgaste en la defensa que implica para su gobernabilidad; eso va a ser un desgaste permanente de un gobierno, que, bajo el ideal del cambio, prometió la ética, prometió la trasparencia y no ha podido cumplir”, dijo.

Pineda Jiménez manifiesta que estos hechos no van a afectar que continúe el periodo presidencial del Primer Mandatario de los colombianos.

As for what could happen to President Gustavo Petro if the entry of said illicit money into the presidential campaign is confirmed, the expert mentioned the repercussions.

“He will be a president who will have to enter into legal defense, and in addition to the decisions that are freely made in this legal scenario with their due consequences that are provided for in the constitution and the law. But I want to go further, and the problem is the wear and tear on the defense that it implies for its governability; «That is going to be a permanent wear and tear on a government that, under the ideal of change, promised ethics, promised transparency and has not been able to deliver,» he said.

Pineda Jiménez states that these events will not affect the continuation of the presidential term of the First President of Colombia.
