Aprendices del SENA en Pereira, así como docentes en Dosquebradas, protagonizaron manifestaciones en las que pedían mejores condiciones laborales, educativas y hasta infraestructura.

Cientos de aprendices del SENA efectuaron jornada de protesta a las afueras de l sede principal de la institución en la capital de Risaralda, ubicada en la carrera 8ª. Entre calles 26 y 27.

La manifestación tuvo como principal objetivo, exigir que se les devuelvan sus derechos  laborales,  los cuales según los aprendices, que se perdier5on perdieron en el 2002 dejándolos en precarias condiciones , especialmente en materia  prestacional y en todo lo que tiene que ver  con el código sustantivo del trabajo.

Aseguraron los manifestantes que los aprendices del SENA se convirtieron en mano de obra para las empresas, pero recibiendo una contraprestación mínima para el trabajo que desempeñan.

Entre las situaciones denunciadas por los maestros estuvieron : falta de personal administrativo y docente en algunas instituciones educativas de la localidad.

Problemas importantes de infraestructura en numerosos colegios como el caso del Agustín Nieto Caballero, Santa Isabel, Empresarial, Enrique Millán Rubio, entre otros.

Igualmente porque no se ha efectuado el pago del incremento del 0,4% que fue establecido desde diciembre de 2023.

Los docentes de Dosquebradas aseguraron que se requieren mejoras de fondo a la infraestructura educativa, porque los arreglos realizados hasta ahora no brindan garantías para las clases.

SENA apprentices in Pereira, as well as teachers in Dosquebradas, staged demonstrations in which they asked for better working, educational and even infrastructure conditions.

Hundreds of SENA trainees held a day of protest outside the institution’s main headquarters in the capital of Risaralda, located on Carrera 8a. Between 26th and 27th streets.

The main objective of the demonstration was to demand that they return their labor rights, which according to the apprentices, were lost in 2002, leaving them in precarious conditions, especially in terms of benefits and everything that has to do with the substantive code. from work.

The protesters assured that the SENA apprentices became labor for the companies, but receiving minimal compensation for the work they perform.

Among the situations reported by the teachers were: lack of administrative and teaching staff in some educational institutions in the town.
