Un nuevo caso de violencia de género tiene paralizado al departamento de Risaralda , una joven de 26 años de edad fue atacada brutalmente a cuchillo por su compañero sentimental en el municipio de Apía, los hechos ocurrieron en una estación de gasolina mientras tanqueaban; el sujeto posteriormente  quiso suicidarse.

Jessica Carvajal Vélez, de 26 años de edad, salió junto a su compañero sentimental Jhonatan Steven Nieto Vélez, de 28 años de edad.

La pelea de la pareja se originó porque Jhonatan estaba acusando a Jessica de serle infiel en el tiempo en el que estuvo en el ejército, y toda la investigación apunta de que fue un acto premeditado.
