Gremios económicos del Tolima tuvieron el primer acercamiento con el nuevo comandante de la Quinta División.

En una jornada de relacionamiento estratégico se compartió información de interés para atacar los delitos que se puedan presentar en el territorio tolimense.

30 January 2026 09:17 AMCon la presencia de veinte empresarios del Tolima, se realizó la reunión con los gremios económicos en el Cantón Militar Jaime Rooke, de la Sexta Brigada junto con los comandantes de batallones desplegados en el departamento. Este espacio fue liderado por el comandante de la Quinta División, brigadier general Carlos Ernesto Marmolejo Cumbe y el comandante de la Sexta Brigada, coronel Arnold Esneider Pérez Linares.

Uno a uno los empresarios expusieron sus necesidades en materia de seguridad, donde agradecieron el apoyo que se ha tenido por parte de la Sexta Brigada, a través del Gaula Militar Tolima, para atender las diferentes necesidades en materia preventiva, en especial con las campañas de sensibilización para el sector, enfocadas en la estrategia Yo No Pago, Yo Denuncio, línea gratuita 147.

Acciones que se seguirán fortaleciendo, como lo manifestó el brigadier general Marmolejo, no solo en los requerimientos en materia de seguridad, sino también en el intercambio de información para enfrentar cualquier hecho irregular que se presente en el territorio tolimense y departamentos vecinos.

Ganaderos, arroceros, sector funerario, sector juegos de azar, transporte intermunicipal, sector servicios públicos, supermercados y centros comerciales fueron parte de los empresarios que estuvieron en esta reunión estratégica, que hoy logra afianzar la unión entre nuestros soldados del Ejército Nacional y los gremios económicos del Tolima.

Business associations in Tolima had their first meeting with the new commander of the Fifth Division.

During a strategic outreach session, information of interest was shared to combat potential crimes in the Tolima region.

With the participation of twenty business leaders from Tolima, the meeting with business associations was held at the Jaime Rooke Military Cantonment of the Sixth Brigade, along with the commanders of battalions deployed in the department. This event was led by the commander of the Fifth Division, Brigadier General Carlos Ernesto Marmolejo Cumbe, and the commander of the Sixth Brigade, Colonel Arnold Esneider Pérez Linares.

One by one, the business owners presented their security needs, expressing their gratitude for the support they have received from the Sixth Brigade, through the Tolima Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Group), in addressing their various preventative needs, especially the awareness campaigns for the sector focused on the «I Don’t Pay, I Report» strategy, accessible via the toll-free hotline 147.

These actions will continue to be strengthened, as stated by Brigadier General Marmolejo, not only in terms of security requirements but also in the exchange of information to confront any irregularities that may occur in the Tolima region and neighboring departments.

Cattle ranchers, rice farmers, the funeral sector, the gambling sector, intercity transportation, public services, supermarkets, and shopping centers were among the business owners who participated in this strategic meeting, which today strengthens the bond between our soldiers of the National Army and the economic sectors of Tolima.
