Bajo la coordinación del reconocido y experimentado abogado Benjamín Herrera, y del Ex magistrado del Tribunal Contencioso Administrativo Carlos Arturo Jaramillo, así como el ex Registrador de Pereira Raúl Armando Rico y  250 profesionales del derecho, conforman el grupo de Defensa Jurídica que acompaña al candidato a la Alcaldía de Pereira Mauricio Salazar, de cara a las elecciones que se realizarán el próximo 29 de octubre de 2023.

“Quiero ser un soldado más, sabemos que Mauricio va a ser arrollador en las urnas, pero él necesita es que lo rodeemos y en ese ejercicio lo que vamos a defender es la democracia, la voz de los pereiranos, el no al continuismo”, aseguró Benjamín Herrera.

Según explicó el Ex magistrado Carlos Arturo Jaramillo, “el equipo de Defensa Jurídica tendrá como misión capacitar los testigos electorales, tener representatividad de los abogados en todas las zonas electorales y mesas y con poderes para hacer las impugnaciones en tiempo real, también en donde se realizan los escrutinios y el cual estará hasta el final de los mismos y se dé la declaratoria de Alcalde de Pereira, porque

queremos darle la certeza y la confianza a los ciudadanos pereiranos que su voto va a estar cuidado”.

“Aquí todo es voluntario, es muy gratificante para mí ver a todos estos profesionales, donde también hay ingenieros de sistemas, administradores, que de manera libre conforman este “ejército”, quienes están decididos a vigilar que no vaya a haber ningún tipo de fraude o constreñimiento electoral, porque en las urnas se reflejará el sentir de los pereiranos”, aseguró Mauricio Salazar.
