El acto contó con la presencia de los familiares e las 22 víctimas de los falsos positivos , quienes aseguraron que, en más de 15 años desde que el ejército asesinó  a sus seres queridos , no han recibido ningún tipo reparación por parte del erado; sin embargo, destacaron el hecho  de que sus seres amados  sen reconocidos como víctimas  y no como integrantes de grupos armados ilegales, como se afirmó por parte del gobierno nacional cuando fueron ultimados.

Las disculpas públicas estuvieron a cargo del ministro de Defensa , Iván Velásquez, quien resultó que estas ejecuciones  extrajudiciales no pueden volver a ocurrir en el país.

Los hijos, madres, hermanos, padres y demás familiares expresaron su dolor y la indignación que sienten por los falsos positivos; con voz quebrada y entre lágrimas, reclamaron  a las autoridades por el asesinato de sus familiares, recordando que quienes juraron defenderlos (Ejército), fueron los que se los arrebataron.

Varios de los 128 familiares de las 22 víctimas de falsos positivos que asistieron al acto de reconocimiento de responsabilidad y disculpas públicas portaron las fotos de sus seres.

 Es así como en Pereira se llevó a cabo el acto de reconocimiento de responsabilidad y disculpas públicas a las familias de las víctimas de ejecuciones extrajudiciales (Falsos Positivos) realizados en los departamentos de Quindío, Risaralda y Caldas.

Recordamos a quienes murieron a manos de integrantes del Ejército colombiano y que fueron, reportados falsamente como bajas en combate, alterando la verdad de los hecho.

LAS 6.402 víctimas de ejecuciones extrajudiciales ( Falsos Positivos),  se registraron en Colombia entre 2002 y 2008.

Los asesinatos fueron cometidos por unidades del Ejército Nacional.

The event was attended by the relatives of the 22 victims of the false positives, who assured that, in more than 15 years since the army murdered their loved ones, they have not received any type of reparation from the treasury; however, they highlighted the fact that their loved ones are recognized as victims and not as members of illegal armed groups, as was stated by the national government when they were killed.

The public apologies were made by the Minister of Defense, Iván Velásquez, who stated that these extrajudicial executions cannot happen again in the country.

The children, mothers, brothers, fathers and other relatives expressed their pain and indignation for the false positives; with broken voices and tears, they complained to the authorities for the murder of their relatives, remembering that those who swore to defend them (the Army) were the ones who took them from them.

Several of the 128 relatives of the 22 victims of false positives who attended the act of recognition of responsibility and public apologies carried the photos of their loved ones.

This is how the act of recognition of responsibility and public apologies to the families of the victims of extrajudicial executions (False Positives) carried out in the departments of Quindío, Risaralda and Caldas took place in Pereira.

We remember those who died at the hands of members of the Colombian Army and who were falsely reported as combat casualties, distorting the truth of the events.

THE 6,402 victims of extrajudicial executions (False Positives) were recorded in Colombia between 2002 and 2008.

The murders were committed by units of the National Army.
