Con acciones que impactan directamente en la niñez y la comunidad educativa, se mejora el bienestar, la seguridad y el desarrollo de la población en el Guaviare.

08 February 2026 10:58 AMEn el marco del Plan de Campaña Ayacucho Plus, soldados del Batallón de Infantería de Selva N.º 19 General José Joaquín París Ricaurte, adscritos a la Vigésima Segunda Brigada de Selva, desarrollaron una actividad de apoyo a la educación, en un trabajo conjunto con la Armada Nacional y los Profesionales Oficiales de la Reserva (POR) en San José del Guaviare.Después de desplazarse en lancha por el río Guaviare hasta la vereda Playa Nueva, se realizó la entrega de kits escolares, 14 sillas y 9 pupitres a los estudiantes de la escuela La Vega, fortaleciendo los espacios educativos y brindando mejores condiciones para el aprendizaje de niños y niñas de esta comunidad rural.Cabe resaltar que muchos de los estudiantes recorren largas distancias para llegar a su institución educativa y provienen de familias de escasos recursos, lo que dificulta el acceso a útiles escolares completos. Es allí donde la labor de los soldados cobra especial relevancia, al apoyar a estos niños y niñas que representan el presente y el futuro de Colombia.Con este tipo de iniciativas, el Ejército Nacional reafirma su compromiso integral con el Guaviare, no solo desde el componente de seguridad, sino también como aliado del desarrollo social y el bienestar de las comunidades, trabajando de manera articulada con otras instituciones del Estado en beneficio de la población civil.

The National Army strengthens education and development in San José del Guaviare.

Through actions that directly impact children and the educational community, the well-being, security, and development of the population in Guaviare are improved.

As part of the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan, soldiers from the 19th Jungle Infantry Battalion «General José Joaquín París Ricaurte,» attached to the 22nd Jungle Brigade, carried out an educational support activity in San José del Guaviare, in collaboration with the Colombian Navy and Reserve Officer Professionals (POR). After traveling by boat along the Guaviare River to the village of Playa Nueva, they delivered school supply kits, 14 chairs, and 9 desks to the students of La Vega School, strengthening educational spaces and providing better learning conditions for the children of this rural community. It is worth noting that many of the students travel long distances to reach their school and come from low-income families, which makes access to complete school supplies difficult. It is there that the work of the soldiers takes on special importance, supporting these boys and girls who represent the present and future of Colombia. With this type of initiative, the National Army reaffirms its comprehensive commitment to Guaviare, not only from the security component, but also as an ally of social development and the well-being of the communities, working in coordination with other State institutions for the benefit of the civilian population.
