EL CARNAVAL DE REGIONES ES UNO DE LOS EVENTOS DE ESTAS FIESTAS QU MAS HAN DISFRUTADO TURISTAS Y ASISTENTES A LAS FIESTA DE LA COSECHA 162 AÑOS DE PEREIRA.

FELICITACIONES AL ALCALDE DE PEREIRA, MAURICIO SALAZAR PELÁEZ,  Y A SUS ORGANIZADORES DE LAS FIESTAS DE LA COSECHA POR SU EXTRORDINARIA PROGRAMACIÓN Y EXCELENTE ORGANIZACIÓN.

Ejemplo de Fiestas de la Cosecha, más bonito, más alegre, más aliado, más organizado, más participativo en medio de más tranquilidad y de mayor seguridad, el inicio de las fiestas de la Cosecha organizadas por la actual administración Municipal para la celebración los 162 años e fundación de la ciudad.

Todos los eventos programados para el viernes, primer día de la celebración, así como, pasó con los realizados durante el puente festivo, pero especialmente el ya tradicional festival gastronómico Internacional que por vigésima segunda ocasión deleito a los asistentes y el Gran desfile de la Cohecha que se cumplió por la avenida 30 de agosto, fueron un éxito en participación y cumplimiento ciudadano.

El primero, a pesar de la lluvia, se cumplió en la Plaza de Bolívar con lleno total e impecable organización. Fue una fiesta maravillosa donde la gastronomía se unió a la música para deleitar a las familias pereiranas y a la multitud de visitantes que cada año vienen a Pereira a disfrutar la diversidad de platos y la riqueza culinaria de la región cafetera.

Al menos una treintena de restaurantes y otro tanto de carpas orecieron a los miles de asistentes un variado y delicioso menú de cocina internacional y de comidas típicas, que, complementados con la excelente presentación artística y musical, hicieron la delicia de los fieles clientes de esa gran fiesta gastronómica y cultural.

El segundo vento de la programación que e ha ganado los mejores comen ríos y el aplauso general, fue un verdadero derroche de ingenio, de talento, de diversidad cultural y la riqueza étnica. Fue un carnaval de regiones lleno de color, de música y de tradiciones que llenó las calles de alegría e impregnó el ambiente de fiesta y de sano jolgorio.

Pero no solamente fueron estos dos eventos los que marcaron con éxito el inicio de las Fiestas de la Cosecha. El Bulevar de la Circunvalar, la Ruta de la Arepa con al menos 25 participantes, de Gala de Tango, el Concurso Mundial del Gallo y la Gallina Ornamental, la cuentearía con puro Cuento, el concierto de la Plaza y las verbenas en el Parque industrial, en Villa Santana, y la Avenida del Río y en San Nicolas, también fueron todos los encuentros que se realizaron con éxito y dentro de la mayor tranquilidad y, algo muy valioso, con la participación de decenas de artistas locales.

Hay que felicitar a la administración el alcalde MAURICIO SALAZAR PELAÉZ, y en especial a los organizadores de las actuales Fiestas de la Cosecha, por su extraordinaria programación y su excelente organización y, por su puesto, a os pereiranos, residentes y visitantes por su masiva participación y su magnífico comportamiento.

A more beautiful, more joyful, more united, more organized, more participatory example of Harvest Festivals, amid greater tranquility and greater security, is the beginning of the Harvest Festivals organized by the current municipal administration to celebrate the 162nd anniversary of the city’s founding.

All the events scheduled for Friday, the first day of the celebration, as well as those held over the long weekend, but especially the now traditional International Gastronomic Festival, which delighted attendees for the twenty-second time, and the Grand Cohecha Parade that took place along 30 de Agosto Avenue, were a success in terms of participation and citizen participation.

The former, despite the rain, took place in the Plaza de Bolívar with a full house and impeccable organization. It was a wonderful celebration where gastronomy combined with music to delight Pereira families and the multitude of visitors who come to Pereira each year to enjoy the diversity of dishes and the culinary richness of the coffee region.

At least thirty restaurants and as many tents offered the thousands of attendees a varied and delicious menu of international cuisine and traditional dishes. These, complemented by the excellent artistic and musical presentations, delighted the loyal customers of this great gastronomic and cultural celebration.

The second event in the program, which earned the best river eaters and widespread applause, was a true display of ingenuity, talent, cultural diversity, and ethnic richness. It was a regional carnival filled with color, music, and traditions that filled the streets with joy and imbued the atmosphere with celebration and wholesome merriment.

But it wasn’t just these two events that successfully marked the start of the Harvest Festival. The Circunvalar Boulevard, the Arepa Route with at least 25 participants, the Tango Gala, the World Rooster and Ornamental Hen Contest, the storytelling with pure storytelling, the concert in the Plaza, and the open-air dances in the Industrial Park in Villa Santana, and on Avenida del Río and in San Nicolas, were also all events that took place successfully and peacefully, and, very valuable, with the participation of dozens of local artists.

We must congratulate the administration, Mayor MAURICIO SALAZAR PELAÉZ, and especially the organizers of the current Harvest Festivals, for their extraordinary programming and excellent organization. And, of course, we must also congratulate the people of Pereira, residents, and visitors, for their massive participation and magnificent behavior.
