Ejército y Policía neutralizan acción delictiva en La Plata, Huila.

La información oportuna de la Red de Participación Cívica fue decisiva para que las tropas del Batallón de Infantería N.° 26 Cacique Pigoanza, de la Novena Brigada del Ejército Nacional, en coordinación con la Policía Huila, frustraran un intento de hurto en el municipio de La Plata, demostrando una vez más la efectividad de la Fuerza Pública en la defensa de los huilenses.

Los hechos ocurrieron en la vereda El Cabuyal, sector de la terminal de transportes, cuando cuatro sujetos armados intimidaron a un ciudadano con arma de fuego, disparándole en repetidas ocasiones y causándole una lesión en la pierna derecha. Gracias a la implementación de un plan candado y a la reacción inmediata de las unidades militares, fue posible cerrar las zonas de escape e impedir que los agresores huyeran del lugar.

En el marco de la operación se logró la captura de un hombre mayor de edad, la aprehensión de dos menores de edad y la incautación de dos motocicletas utilizadas en la acción criminal. Durante la reacción militar, uno de los menores resultó herido en la pierna izquierda y fue trasladado a un centro asistencial, donde recibe atención médica. La víctima del intento de hurto, por su parte, se encuentra bajo observación y fuera de peligro.

Los menores aprehendidos fueron dejados a disposición de las autoridades competentes en el marco de la protección integral de sus derechos, mientras que el capturado continuará con el respectivo proceso judicial.

Con estas acciones, la Novena Brigada del Ejército Nacional, en articulación con la Policía Nacional, reafirma su compromiso de garantizar la seguridad, proteger la vida y devolverles la tranquilidad a los huilenses, actuando con firmeza frente a quienes pretenden alterar el orden y la paz ciudadana.

The incident occurred in the El Cabuyal neighborhood, near the transport terminal, when four armed individuals intimidated a citizen with a firearm, shooting him repeatedly and injuring his right leg. Thanks to the implementation of a lockdown plan and the immediate response of military units, it was possible to close off the escape zones and prevent the attackers from fleeing the scene.

As part of the operation, an adult man was captured, two minors were apprehended, and two motorcycles used in the crime were seized. During the military response, one of the minors was injured in the left leg and was taken to a health center where he is receiving medical attention. The victim of the attempted theft is under observation and is out of danger.

The apprehended minors were placed at the disposal of the competent authorities within the framework of the comprehensive protection of their rights, while the captured minor will continue with the respective judicial process.

With these actions, the Ninth Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with the National Police, reaffirms its commitment to guarantee security, protect life, and restore peace to the people of Huila, acting firmly against those who seek to disrupt public order and peace.
