Ejército Nacional desmantela cinco laboratorios de cocaína en el Putumayo y asesta golpe de más de 529 millones de pesos al narcotráfico.

En desarrollo del Plan Ayacucho, tropas de la Fuerza de Despliegue Rápido N°.6 de la Sexta División en coordinación interagencial con la Policia Nacional de Colombia y otras autoridades, lograron un importante resultado contra las economías ilícitas del narcotráfico en el departamento de Putumayo.

En el marco de la operación, fueron ubicados y destruidos cinco laboratorios para el procesamiento de pasta base de coca en la vereda Delicias José María, jurisdicción del municipio de Puerto Guzmán. Estos complejos pertenecían, al parecer, al GAO-r Estructura 48 ?Comandos de Frontera? y representaban una fuente clave de financiación para sus actividades criminales.

Durante la intervención se incautaron y destruyeron más de 481 kilos de pasta base de coca, junto con 2.330 galones de insumos líquidos como gasolina, ACPM y ácido sulfúrico, así como 2.760 kilos de insumos sólidos entre hoja de coca, cal, urea, cemento y otros químicos empleados en el procesamiento. El valor estimado de la afectación asciende a más de 529 millones de pesos, debilitando de manera directa las finanzas ilegales de este grupo.

Con este resultado, la Sexta División  asesta un golpe contundente a la estructura criminal, limitando sus capacidades de producción y comercialización de estupefacientes, que tanto daño causan a las comunidades y al medio ambiente de la región.

Estos hechos reafirman el compromiso firme e inquebrantable de nuestras tropas con la lucha frontal contra el narcotráfico, la defensa de la legalidad y la protección de los habitantes del sur del país.

In the context of Plan Ayacucho, troops from the Sixth Division’s Rapid Deployment Force No. 6, in interagency coordination with the Colombian National Police and other authorities, achieved significant results against illicit drug trafficking in the department of Putumayo.

As part of the operation, five laboratories for processing coca paste base were located and destroyed in the Delicias José María district, in the jurisdiction of the municipality of Puerto Guzmán. These complexes apparently belonged to the GAO-r Structure 48 «Border Commands» and represented a key source of financing for their criminal activities.

During the operation, more than 481 kilos of coca paste were seized and destroyed, along with 2,330 gallons of liquid inputs such as gasoline, diesel fuel, and sulfuric acid, as well as 2,760 kilos of solid inputs including coca leaf, lime, urea, cement, and other chemicals used in processing. The estimated value of the damage amounts to more than 529 million pesos, directly weakening the illegal finances of this group.

With this result, the Sixth Division has dealt a decisive blow to the criminal structure, limiting its capabilities to produce and market narcotics, which cause so much harm to the communities and the environment in the region.

These events reaffirm our troops’ firm and unwavering commitment to the frontal fight against drug trafficking, the defense of legality, and the protection of the inhabitants of the southern part of the country.
