El Deportivo Pereira atraviesa su momento más crítico en años. El equipo de la Capital de Risaralda cerró 2025 con graves problemas económicos, presentaciones deportivas deficientes y complicaciones legales ante la Superintendencia de Sociedades y el Ministerio del Trabajo. Esta situación se agravó el viernes pasado con el pobre desempeño mostrado en Armenia durante el inicio de la temporada oficial 2026, generando profunda preocupación en una afición que acudió a despedir al equipo con esperanza de cambios.

La crisis institucional que enfrenta el club risaraldense no es producto de la casualidad, sino de decisiones administrativas que han comprometido la viabilidad de la organización. Sin embargo, esto solo será posible si la administración reconoce la magnitud de los problemas y toma decisiones valientes y transparentes para superarlos. La responsabilidad directiva no puede eludirse ni minimizarse.

El panorama deportivo también requiere atención urgente. Las presentaciones deficientes en cancha, evidenciadas en el debut de temporada, reflejan no solo problemas tácticos sino también la falta de estabilidad institucional que afecta el rendimiento del equipo. Los jugadores necesitan un ambiente de certidumbre y profesionalismo para desempeñarse adecuadamente, elementos que actualmente están comprometidos por la crisis administrativa.

Pereira es una ciudad que ama profundamente a su equipo y que ha demostrado capacidad para superar adversidades. Sin embargo, esta vez la responsabilidad recae completamente en quienes tienen el poder de decisión en la directiva. Entre todos será posible superar esta crisis solo si existe voluntad real, sacrificio compartido y una gestión que anteponga los intereses del club y la comunidad sobre cualquier otra consideración.
