DENUNCIAN FALLAS EN EL PROCESO

CONTRA EL EXPRESIDENTE ALVARO URIBE VÉLEZ.

El reciente anuncio del llamado a juicio al expresidente Álvaro Uribe Vélez, ha generado revuelo dentro de las filas del partido Centro Democrático,.

Copartidarios del exmandatario expresaron su dolor y tristeza ante esta decisión judicial, al tiempo que manifestaron un sólido respaldo a su líder político.

En un comunicado emitido por el partido dice la siguiente :

El Centro Democrático mantiene su firme convicción  en la inocencia  y honorabilidad del expresidente, cuyo trabajo y legado por Colombia ha sido con amor infinito y gran compromiso por la patria.

Este mensaje refleja la aposición  unánime del partido respecto a la situación judicial que enfrente el Presidente del Partido Democrático, Álvaro Uribe Vélez.

Así mismo la banca del Centro Democrático reafirmo su confianza en las instituciones democráticas del país y realizó un llamado a respetar el debido proceso en el marco  de la ley y la Constitución  Política.

En Risaralda, el diputado por el Centro Democrático , Durguez Espinosa , expresó  su confianza en que el expresidente saldrá delante de esta situación,  como lo ha hecho en investigaciones  anteriores.

Espinosa destacó que las solicitudes de preclusión  por parte de la Fiscalía  en investigaciones previas contrastan con la decisión actual de llevar a juicio al expresidente por dos periódos, Álvaro Uribe Veléz.

Por su parte, el Senador, Iván Cepeda, quien actúa como víctima en este caso argumentó que no dará a conocer detalle de su estrategia jurídica  y hace un llamado a llegar a un acuerdo nacional en torno a la verdad.

“Nosotros no vamos a adelantar nada con relación  a nuestra estrategia  jurídica, que como se ha demostrado es muy rigurosa , que tiene un acervo probatorio muy sólido después de tantos años de litigio judicial, que tiene decisiones  que respaldan ese acervo, así que vamos con la tranquilidad, sin arrogancias a la instancia judicial que corresponde , aseguro el Senador, Iván Cepeda.

The recent announcement of the call to trial of former President Álvaro Uribe Vélez has generated a stir within the ranks of the Democratic Center party.

Co-supporters of the former president expressed their pain and sadness at this judicial decision, while expressing solid support for their political leader.

In a statement issued by the party it says the following:

The Democratic Center maintains its firm conviction in the innocence and honorability of the former president, whose work and legacy for Colombia has been with infinite love and great commitment to the country.

This message reflects the unanimous opposition of the party regarding the judicial situation faced by the President of the Democratic Party, Álvaro Uribe Vélez.

Likewise, the Democratic Center bench reaffirmed its confidence in the country’s democratic institutions and called for respect for due process within the framework of the law and the Political Constitution.

In Risaralda, the deputy for the Democratic Center, Durguez Espinosa, expressed his confidence that the former president will emerge from this situation, as he has done in previous investigations.

Espinosa highlighted that the requests for preclusion by the Prosecutor’s Office in previous investigations contrast with the current decision to put the former president for two terms, Álvaro Uribe Veléz, on trial.

For his part, Senator Iván Cepeda, who acts as a victim in this case, argued that he will not disclose details of his legal strategy and calls for reaching a national agreement regarding the truth.

«We are not going to advance anything in relation to our legal strategy, which as has been shown is very rigorous, which has a very solid body of evidence after so many years of judicial litigation, which has decisions that support that body, so we are going with tranquility, without arrogance to the corresponding judicial instance, assured the Senator, Iván Cepeda.
