Nunca he querido ser agorero de desastres; pero me entristece que una Nación como Colombia, tan formidablemente dotada por la naturaleza, con dos mares y sus connacionales que trascienden, tanto mujeres como hombre, en todos los continentes, ahora este gobernada por un presidente como Gustavo Petro que va a redropelo de la historia, a través de sus trinos muchos mentirosos, en la red social X, como el del 14 de octubre de 2023, cuando dijo que: “ Hamas es el invento de la Mosad (Agencia de Inteligencia Exterior Israelí) para dividir al pueblo Palestino y tener la excusa de castigarlo”; sin darse cuenta que tantas falsedades, afectan directamente la política exterior Colombiana. Para Enrique Prieto, analista de la Universidad del Rosario, las opiniones de Petro, afectan la institucionalidad diplomática en lo que coincidieron 12 ex cancilleres de Colombia, Pero la última estupidez de Petro, es en la que afirma: “Algún día el ejército y el gobierno de Israel nos pedirán perdón por lo que hicieron sus hombres en nuestra tierra, desatando el genocidio”. Me abrazaré con ellos y ellas y lloraré por el homicidio de Auschwitz y de Gaza, y por el Auschwitz Colombiano”. Lior Haiat de Asuntos Exteriores de Israel dijo: Las declaraciones de Petro reflejan un apoyo a las atrocidades cometidas por los terroristas de Hamas, avivan el anti semitismo, afectan a los representantes del Estado de Israel y amenazan la paz de la comunidad judía en Colombia. Como Petro desconoce la historia de Colombia, no sabe que tenemos una gran herencia Judeo- cristiana que nos legaron los Sefarditas Españoles, que el Departamento de Antioquia es la histórica Antioquía, que Caldas son Los Caldeo y Medellín los Medos; y que, en el Norte de Colombia, en el Atlántico se radicaron los sirio- libaneses, y que con ambas tradiciones convivimos. Presidente Petro, a estudiar la historia, para que no siga imaginando sandeces.

I have never wanted to be a doomsayer; But it saddens me that a Nation like Colombia, so formidably endowed by nature, with two seas and its compatriots who transcend, both women and men, on all continents, is now governed by a president like Gustavo Petro who is going to replace the history, through his many liars trills, on social network have the excuse of punishing him”; without realizing that so many falsehoods directly affect Colombian foreign policy. Since Petro is unaware of the history of Colombia, he does not know that we have a great Judeo-Christian heritage that the Spanish Sephardim bequeathed to us, that the Department of Antioquia is the historic Antioquia, that Caldas are the Chaldeos and Medellín the Medes; and that, in the North of Colombia, in the Atlantic, the Syrian-Lebanese settled, and that we coexist with both traditions. President Petro, to study history, so that you do not continue imagining nonsense.
