El Colegio Nacional de Periodistas seccional Risaralda llevó a cabo la elección de su junta directiva para el próximo periodo de un año, en una reunión realizada en el salón de actos del consejo municipal de Pereira. La licenciada María Victoria Larrarte Guevara fue reelegida como presidenta, destacándose por su gestión y los buenos servicios prestados a la organización gremial.

La nueva junta directiva del CNP Risaralda quedó conformada con un equipo de integrantes que liderarán los destinos del gremio periodístico departamental. Además de Larrarte Guevara en la presidencia, el vicepresidente será Jhon Alejandro Montealegre Aguilar, mientras que Jhon Alex Bernal asumirá como secretario y José Gabriel Barrera Rojas ejercerá como tesorero.

Completando la estructura directiva, Leonardo José Parra Romero ocupará el cargo de fiscal, encargado de velar por la transparencia y el cumplimiento de las normas estatutarias. Los comunicadores sociales Jeff Diazgranados y Hugo Castro Ríos fueron designados como coordinadores, quienes apoyarán las diferentes actividades y proyectos del colegio profesional.

Durante la reunión se abordaron puntos de vital importancia para los comunicadores sociales de Risaralda, enfocados en fortalecer el ejercicio profesional y la defensa de los derechos laborales del gremio. La reelección de la licenciada Larrarte Guevara fue ampliamente respaldada por los asistentes, quienes reconocieron su compromiso y dedicación al frente de la organización.

La nueva junta directiva tendrá como principales desafíos consolidar la representación gremial en el departamento, promover la actualización profesional de sus agremiados y defender la libertad de prensa en la región. El Colegio Nacional de Periodistas continúa así su labor de representación y protección de los intereses de los profesionales de la comunicación en Risaralda.

Risaralda National College of Journalists elects new board of directors for the next term.

The National College of Journalists Risaralda chapter held the election of its board of directors for the next one-year term, during a meeting at the municipal council assembly hall. Professor María Victoria Larrarte Guevara was reelected as president, standing out for her management and excellent services provided to the professional organization.

The new CNP Risaralda board of directors was formed with a seven-member team that will lead the department’s journalistic union. In addition to Larrarte Guevara as president, Jhon Alejandro Montealegre Aguilar will serve as vice president, while Jhon Alex Bernal will assume the role of secretary and José Gabriel Barrera Rojas will serve as treasurer.

Completing the leadership structure, Leonardo José Parra Romero will hold the position of comptroller, responsible for ensuring transparency and compliance with statutory regulations. Social communicators Jeff Diazgranados and Hugo Castro Ríos were appointed as coordinators, who will support the various activities and projects of the professional college.

During the meeting, matters of vital importance for Risaralda’s social communicators were addressed, focused on strengthening professional practice and defending the labor rights of the union. Professor Larrarte Guevara’s reelection was widely supported by attendees, who recognized her commitment and dedication at the helm of the organization.

The new board of directors will face key challenges including consolidating union representation in the department, promoting professional development among members, and defending press freedom in the region. The National College of Journalists continues its work of representing and protecting the interests of communication professionals in Risaralda.
